Sam is the most nominated by the housemates, why should she stay?

After two weeks of nominations, the table I believe looks like this:

Sam 10
Derek 9
Saskia 6
Roberto 5
Vanessa 5
Makosi 4
Maxwell 3
Science 2
Lesley 2
Kemal 1
Craig 1

Sam 10 nominations versus Lesley with 2

Alot of viewers appear to have selective memory. Let me refresh them for you and cover some topics:

Lesley is NOT the only housemate in there who is calling Sam names, nor is she the only housemate in there who hates Sam. I can think of several names, Derek, Vanessa, Craig being three who have all expressed a dislike to Sam and have called her names, Derek in particular.

The entire house (except Derek and Science) had plotted not so many nights ago to "set Sam up" by getting her to waterbomb Derek, and then lock her out of the diary room while the rest went into the diary room. Had Science not stepped in, Sam would have been left with Derek on her own in the house, after waterbombing him. Bullying surely, going on recent posts. Who was behind this plot? Maxwell. Anthony also agreed to it. Yet it's forgotten.

Sam herself threw water on Dereks bed that very same night, for no apparent reason. Derek did nothing to her, why should he be forced to sleep in a wet bed? Bullying again.. based on recent opinion. Yet, it's forgotten.

Sam has told most, if not all housemates to "f**k off" at various points over the past two weeks. In particular when Sam totally ignored the rules of her task and walked without crutches. Her reason for this was because "It could have killed me".. if she had a problem, why didn't she just go to the diary room and express her concern for her health? And when the others asked why she did it, a torrent of abuse followed in every direction. Great team player, is our Sam.

But we are told that we should feel sorry for Sam, because shes having to put up with bullying. Why?

I can think of a few reasons:

- Sam spent the entire first week, and most of this week, not talking. Most housemates have expressed an opinion that Sam doesn't really do anything other than laugh and smile. She does nothing. She is totally different in the house to her audition tape, but should we really be surprised when Sam turned up for an audition in tiny hot pants ? She obviously feels her looks alone will win her Big Brother. *yawn*.

- Sam blatently plays to the camera. An example of this during the hospital task. Sam seemed to take it upon herself to unbutton the top three or so buttons of her uniform and expose her bra during a "I'm all alone" moment. Why? Because she knew she was on camera. If Lesley had done that, they'd be 100 threads on the subject.

I find it funny also that alot of people here think Sam is being bullied, yet join in with discussions on how "fat" Lesley is. And you feel you can judge someone for bullying? You're obviously all experts on the subject.

Sam bores me. She has 10 nominations over two weeks. She needs to go. She doesn't deserve to be in there imho.

Make no mistake, had Makosi not been given a "secret mission" and had Vanessa not discussed nominations, Sam would have been up for eviction twice in two weeks. That is a fact.

Vote for whoever you want to.

The table of nominations is irrelevant to us as we vote who we want to leave. This week we could decide that someone who has never been nominated should be the one that leaves.

PS. I'll be voting for Lesley, she's vile.

The housemates do not decide who leaves the house, the voting public do. If the public want Sam to leave, she'll leave.

Lesley is not the only person who hates Sam, nor is she the only person teasing her. However, she is the only one threatening her.

Oh, and you might want to think about what the word 'bullying' really means.

Just because the housemates don't like her and nominate her, doesn't mean she should go. Them nominating her is their attempt to win the game. At the end of the day she deserves a shot at winning like everyone else in there and at the end of the day the public decide who goes and she's starting to become quite liked by the public, because the housemates are so horrid to her. Why give the housemates what they want by evicting her. Keep her in there to frustrate them and evict them instead.

Inspiration, I wholeheartedly agree with you, and admire your fortitude in making this post! I've given up trying to say anything similar - it's clear large swathes of the internet is backing Sam for some mysterious reason - this happened with Jon Tickle too - I didn't understand it then, and I don't now. In many ways, the forums are more interesting than the house this year.

Fortunately, I never vote, so I can let the whole thing wash over me from that point of view - I never get emotionally involved in who stays or leaves.

I'm not backing Sam, she isn't my favourite. But I'd like to ask the FM's what they want in a winner? Are they backing the person they think deserves to win? Are they backing the person who has entertained them the most? Are they backing the person they think is like themselves?.......or Are they backing the person they'd wish they'd be?

I don't think it is the same thing that it was with the Tickle, that was just because he was in such a boring bunch of people and he was so different to every single one of them. This is because people feel sorry for her (and, to be honest, fairly deservedly).

because it's "you decide", not the housemates

anyway, i think derek would have gone this week

last week mary had the fewest nominations - and was evicted. That is just as unfair as having the most and staying. Nominations are irrelivant anyway - the producers always manage to 'arrange' for certain hms to remain un-nominated.

people have such short memories........he was the most boring HM in BB History. The only reason he stayed in so long was because we as the public are sadists, and we wanted to inflict his boringness on the others for longer.

Simple answer is even if you want her out the fact she has had most nominations means she will be up again. So why waste the most valuable voting chance we will have in BB6 on voting out someone you can vote out any week??

Never before have we the viewers had full control of who is evicted, it only makes sense to vote in a tactical manner.

Also Sam leaving at this point will not change the dynamics of the group and I strongly feel that a shake up of one of the dominant groups in the house is essential to keep things interesting.

Trying very hard to - but the point is valid they only had one nomination each and Mary went out. I was no great fan of hers' just making the point. Last year nadia was nominated more times thatn anyone - and she won!

Sam only has so nominations as "Team Britney" were cheating and all planned to vote for her and Saskia. And Derek was part of that too, writing S & S on Makosi's feet.
Fat Les, craig, Vanessa and Psycho Derek should all have got a final warning for their antics
