That was great... I loved how Davina paused to let the crowd give loud cheers/boos for each housemate.

It is great, but there's one draw back, the other housemates get to see who is most popular, and will no doubt lick up to them this week.

Deliciously cruel.

At least the sick and twisted Derek knows what we think of him.

Quite - bad idea. Spoils the isolation idea...

That was the best eviction show (pre-eviction anyway) that I've ever seen, loved the boos and cheers!

Yes, it was good to see their reactions, but will lead to the unpopular HMs reigning it in next week. On the other hand, it might make the cheered ones more complacent.

You watch Craig go and bitch about Saskia and Max getting cheered tonight

Hmm. This means the HMs got a sense of how popular (or not) they are. For the intelligent ones in the house, it will make for some interesting tactics ..

Totally agree. Was a really bad idea

it was stupid - they all got an assessment on how they're being perceived. Everyone knows who to vote for next week. The door to tactical voting has never been more open

Yep, you're right. They broke their own rule about outside influence.

I agree with a couple of posts above though,..there are drawbacks.

Yeah - the HMs trying to work out who is/isn't popular is usually an amusing thing to watch.

And the more I think about it, the more I think it maybe wasn't such a good idea.

1) The contact with the outside world thing.

2) And from that contact the housemates can now modify their behaviour

So the game is f**ked up.

It's not necessarily a criticism ... just an observation ... but BB has gone all to fcuk this year ... the whole point was that the HMs were supposed to be unaware of the impression they were making ... hence blindfolding Saskia on her casualty journey ... but how did tonight fit into that? ... just seems to be getting a bit shoddy ... the producers making things up as they go along ...
