Not so long ago, there was word on the street that the new single was going to be called "Have The Nice Day"...I always thought that sounded strange and could be a typo. Any being a big Bon Jovi fan, I can't wait for the new album either.

It will be "Have A Nice Day", they performed a bit of it on the AMAs a few weeks back, and will be performing it at the Philadelhia Live8 Concert. It rocks!

The guitar type is pretty much irrelevant. All you need to do it make sure that when you press the whammy bar in, the bridge saddle (Where the strings come through the body) lifts away from the body of the guitar.
This 'shortens' the strings (as you're moving them closer to the neck) and lowers the pitch.

To resurrect the thread, new Bon Jovi album will be called "Have A Nice Day", as is the 1st single.
The website has a clip at
http://bonjovi.aeglive.com/
And hopefully a tour to follow late 05/early 06.

Bon Jovi rock!

Have A Nice Day

I just heard the whole song and I love it!

Better than anything since 'These Days' IMO

Very excited about the release. Song sounds fantastic, potential chart topper I hope. Unbelievable that they have never had a number one yet, their biggest success being Always in 1994 which got to number 2.

Hopefully it'll be a larger tour than the past couple, ie going to other places rather than just ondon/Manchester etc.

I think they had a number 1 with the last album, but that was due to the strength (or lack of) of the charts.

Nope unfortunately not- , ALways was the highest charting Bon Jovi song at No.2. Everyday was midweek no.1 from the last studio album, but dipped to No.5 by the sunday of the chart. Most of the albums since Slippery have got to No.1 though, I hope they can finally get the No.1 single they deserve as Bon Jovi Rock!

Have A Nice Day

I don't think they NEED a number one, you just need to look at the state of the charts. Although it would be nice....

Good point, well actually "need" isn't the word, I should have put "deserve" instead.

Agreed!

Seen Bon Jovi four times (twice at Wembley, once at Milton Keynes and at Hyde Park). A fantastic live band.

They played for nearly 3 and a half hours at Hyde Park! So much energy. I've been to a load of gigs and these guys put a lot of other acts to shame.

Hope they come back to the UK soon...

Agree there, I've seen them four times too

Wembley (Crossroad Tour)
Milton Keynes (These Days Tour)
Milton Keynes (One Wild Night Tour)
Hyde Park (Bounce Tour)

I missed the Crush tour as I was in Greece at the time on hols.
