I so hope you are right (though I doubt it somehow). IMO DT will not make anywhere near as good a Dr as CE

There are so many theories regarding who is going to be in charge of the Daleks that I'm a bit confused!

The only thing I will say, is that RTD wrote this show as much for new viewers as fans, so he will obviously write a denounement for both, which makes me think that it will be Adam,so there will be a relevance for the new viewers as well as the fans.”

But how did he learn to time travel

But then DW isn't invisible, and it's the TARDIS that really flies through the night

I agree with La'G - and I said this all along, that the Dalek from episode six didn't die, but teleported away.

"The Daleks live on through me" - you heard it again tonight folks

My theory based on nothing at all so could be rubbish is:

Spoiler
Adam is the invisible worm who has been tracking Rose and has found her, and her love of the doctor; adam's secret love for her will destroy the doctor.

How did the Daleks survive the Time War? “They survived through me!”

It cannot be:
Spoiler
Davros or the Emperor Dalek

… because new viewers would have no idea who they were!

So, it must be a character from this series, which gives us:
Spoiler
Adam, or the ‘Last Dalek’. I’ve seen speculation elsewhere that says it’s Adam.

Also, who is giving the Doctor and Rose all the ‘Bad Wolf’ references? My guess:
Spoiler
The TARDIS is trying to help the Doctor remember something from the Time War.

One thing we do know: All will be revealed next week!

We've been here before haven't we, honey?!
CE is going to leave because his regeneration of the Doctor sacrifices himself to save the world and Rose from the Daleks - he caused it, however inadvertently, and is therefore Bad Wolf. We won't know this for definate because we'll be left on a cliff hanger next week, desperatley, along with Rose, searching for the Doctor and perhaps Captain Jack.
She'll find the Doctor regenerating early in the Xmas special.
DT, despite it being weird to begin with, will be a superb DW and we'll all live happily ever after
P.S. What do I know - I'm only posting from the TARDIS, middle of next series

As do the Daleks. And Adam did too.

I could have sworn the voice at the end was the Tardis's (as listed on IMDB) and I thought it said "The Timelords didn't die , they live on through me"

That would suggest to me that something, or someone, has "possessed" Rose ? Something such as the TARDIS ?

As the EM-PER-OR!

EX-TER-MIN-ATE

Adam would make more sense to be brought back in series two, either as creator of the cybermen, or a genius lunatic who crops up occaisionally as the new 'Master' type enemy.

Thought the first half was pretty bad to be honest, poorly acted by the non-regulars and cheesy, but then I'm not a big fan of those shows. Second half picked up a bit, but shame the whole episode was spoiled by some of the worst incidental music I've ever had to endure. Pretty much destroyed the scene where Rose is "killed". Though nice to hear the old "Omen" style theme for the Daleks. Overall, not one of the best eps, certainly not the worst, but as usual, I'm in the minority here. DOH!

Surely spoiler tags are for use with genuine spoilers i.e. definite information that someone has found out about a future programme.

The posts are flying fast and furious and it's a pain having to hightlight every second post.”

I know exactly what you mean.
I've been away for two weeks, and I've come back and noticed that people are using spoiler tags just for things they're making guesses at.

It's irritating to remove a spoiler box thinking you're going to get a juicy revelation, only for somebody to be just making a simple guess at something.

What's going here?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I like you

This may or may not be relevant, but when the "housemates" were evicted,"Davinabot" said "We're gonna get you!!".When I watched it,something niggled about that line,it just wasn't right....

Then at the end,the Doc says "Rose-I'm coming to get you"
Which then made me realise, that that IS what the "real" Davina says on BB....

Exactly - computers. Robots. Cybermen

There is a rumour going round that when
Spoiler
the cybermen return next series, we will be going back to their genesis.
What better way than have Adam recreate them - after all, he's not completely human now and must feel a bit excluded. And we have already been introduced to the character of Adam - and he has a grudge.

I think AM speculated about how much groundwork had been laid for series two in this series - I'd say Adam was a very large part of that groundwork.

In IE, select Tools/Internet Options. On the first tab, select the "Accessibility" button. Tick the box to disable specified colours on web pages. Never have to undo a spoiler tag again. You'll see everything.

Seeing Rose getting disintegrated. Did not see that coming. I was shocked! Didn't breathe for at least a minute! And see the Doctor#s tears. They looked so genuine. I wonder how parents explain the little pile of dust away!

The only detraction was the overpowering incidental music when the Daleks and the Doctor were speaking. I had to bring the subtitles up!

Apart from that - bloody brilliant! RTD really has been saving himself.

I wonder what the enemy was that RTD and co created for the series in case they could not get the Daleks.

That's all very well and good, but I want to know what you thought about the episode - you were very concerned about the level of reality TV in it before it aired. Did it surprise or depress you?

If he has information from 200000, and Captain Jack was from the 51st century (year 5000) and had a time machine, then Adam should have learnt the secret of time-travel.

Oh my God !! Will this be the commercial Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks line-up (killing people with their 3 minute dittys), or will we get the "classic" line-up with Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett too (killing people with their earnest 10 minute compositions)???
