That's right, a wolf that is not good. A bad wolf. You've all gone too deep.

I bet you're right, we'll have spent all this time theorising and it'll be that simple.....

But i hope it isn't....

Anyone who's come too close to know more about CE have been killed off (Clive, Nestene Consciousness, Jabe, the Maid, the DALEK, the Editor).

Also why would the BBC not have had a clause in CEs contract to stay on as the Doctor for another series (if this one took off), and hence waste a very valuable generation life.

All wild theories I know, we will have to wait for the "Bad Wolf" episode to find out what it all means...
Wow see i didn't even think of a couple of those points, it'd be a really great twist if we turned out to be right... But like u say we'll have to wait....

I think that the "Bad Wolf" phrase relates to every time there's a great disaster.I mean, let's face it,when HASN'T the Doc been somewhere where the world needs saving???
It'd be a pretty dull show,after all,if he didn't!!

And I STILL think the Doc is Rose's father!!!!

"Bad Wolf" is one of three elements which keep cropping up in the series. In addition, there's a character who has appeared twice already and is rumoured to appear again.

Details here.

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Tra la la la la

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Tra la la la la

Long ago there were three pigs
Little handsome piggy-wigs
For the big, bad very big very bad wolf
They didn't give three figs

Number one was very gay
And he built his house of hay
With a hey hey toot
He blew on his flute
And he played around all day

Number two was fond of jigs
And so he built his house with twigs
Heigh diddle-diddle
He played on his fiddle
And danced with lady pigs

Number three said "Nix on tricks
I will built my house with bricks"
He had no chance
To sing and dance
'Cause work and play don't mix

Ha ha ha! The two little
Do little pigs just winked and laugh, ha ha!

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Tra la la la la

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Tra la la la la

Came the day when fate did frown
And the wolf blew into town
With a gruff "puff-puff" he puffed just enough
And the hay house fell right down

One and two were scared to death
Of the big bad wolfie's breath
"By the hair of your chin-ny-chin,
I'll blow you in"
And the twig house answered yes

No one left but number Three
To save the piglet family
When they knock
He fast unlocked
And said "Come in with me!"

Now they all were safe inside
And the bricks hurt wolfie's pride
So, he slid down the chimney
And, oh, by Jimney
In the fire he was fried

Ha ha ha! The three little
Free little pigs rejoice and laughed, ha ha!

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Tra la la la la

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?

I think it's all a big in-joke by RTD to froth up the internet forums. Lets ace it, you're all making connections where none have been made (e.g. the pig in Aliens Over London becomes a reference to The Three Little Pigs, Rose's Red Top suddenly makes her Little Red Riding Hood, both fairy tales with wolves in them "so this Bad Wolf stuff must all be connected together somehow!")

No! Total Bollox!

The next episode is probably called Bad Wolf only because RTD couldn't crowbar a reference into the script! Either that or everyone will think that everything will be explained in this episode (some of the people here think so!)

(Just watch me get proved totally wrong! )

Well, whatever it is, if you fancy indulging yourselves then there's always:

http://www.bad-wolf.org.uk

which is up and running and might fill the aching void of conspiracy between now and Ep 12

How do you think the Daleks feel? Just imagine the pre-show stage fright before a big one like tonight!

Actually it's amazing how many of the Dalek stories were actually quite poor (The Chase, Destiny of the Daleks, for example) or just average (most of the Pertwee ones, Remembrance of the Daleks may also just qualify as average rather than poor).

I think the best ones are Genesis, Revelation and Resurrection personally.

I have Evil of the Daleks to listen to (now mostly lost, alas) and think that one could be up there too.

Does anyone know if we are ever likely to see "comebacks" in the new version of Dr Who of Davros (the supreme Dalek creater and leader), The Master and the The Cybermen? It would be good if they were brought back in the second series to be aired next year. However is it true that Davros is back in next weeks episode?

Well apparently the Cybermen are definitely returning in the 2nd series. There are rumours about Davros returning now - is the voice heard at the end of tonight episode Davros or the Emperor Dalek ro something completely different - but I guess we have to wait until next week to find out. As for the Master, I have heard no rumours to say he is and several to say he definitely isn't.

I never heard any voice at the end of the show - just all the daleks shouting "exterminate". Or was this on the trailer for next week's show?

I love Remembrance with the 60's setting and the two rival factions... and the greasy Special Weapons Dalek.

The Original 'The Daleks' is well worth a watch too!

The Cybermen are definately in next season. No word on the Master. He was 'killed' in The Movie - but when has that ever stopped him?

Rumours are that Davros makes an appearence next week... though I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah, that's a fairly good bet I reckon, but he's more Davros 2, not the return of Davros the orginal

As a kid I loved all the Dalek stories just because they were Dalek stories but looking back, the only one that really stands up now for me is "Genesis of the Daleks" even though it totally rewrote history...now? I loved "Dalek" even though it did a good job of rewriting history (note to self: contemplate patternated behaviour) and Bad Wolf was something else just because of the sheer scale of the FX promised for next week...if this is the last time we see the Daleks then it's a fitting goodbye in my humble old...
