divz
12-06-2005
I currently have a tv and broaband service from HomeChoice in my room. I am currently using the broadband service but not the tv service as i dont have a tv in my room. Does anybody know if its possible to connect the homechoice box to my laptop so that i can watch the tv service and how i can connect it?

Cheers!

You'd need a TV Tuner card - you can't do it digitally at the moment.

There are plenty of USB TV Tuners you could purchase. You'll need one with S-Video or Composite in and the right Scart lead OR the Homechoice RF adapter.

Also consider the cardbus type tvtuner cards - Lifeview do one as does another manufacturer who escapes me at the moment. They go in the PCMIA card slot and offer a neater solution than using USB2.
