40 - Rose, without her own knowledge of being responsible.

30 - Adam - Annoyed at the Doctor for leaving him the way he was

30 - Capt. Jack - Too smarmy for his own good not to be hiding something. And I don't mean a compact laser deluxe....

Thought long and hard, still not sure to be honest, but here goes.

Basically. BW is/are clues (a la Next Gen) left by someone for CE's Doctor. Could it be as simple as telling him to "reverse the flow"?

But who's leaving the clues?

30: DT's Doctor to his former self.

40: The Time Lords. If the Daleks survived the Time War in some other dimension, surely the Masters of Time would have been able to? Bad Wolf is/are simply their clues to their last surviving member to save them...

20: This is actually the start of the Time War. I explained this theory of mine weeks ago, involving highly improbable appearances by Paul McGann's Doctor. Hence the clues are from PMcG's Doctor for his future self.

10: Something involving "The Watcher". Someone in the pub I drink in thinks CE is the Watcher...

Of course, as per RTD on the Bad Wolf website...

"Judging from the reactions I've had, a lot of people seem to think the Bad Wolf has already been revealed. Oh, it's the TV station. Oh, it's half a million Daleks. I've even got one friend claiming it's the Face of Boe! I must get better friends.
"I don't want to give anything away yet, but there is another revelation to come in Saturday's episode. We haven't discovered the true Bad Wolf yet."

And how exactly did Adam gain the knowledge to build Daleks? I don't recall any point where he could have gained such a knowledge (even when he was in the future and gained access to the knowledge of the Earth, why and how would Earth have gained this knowledge?). I guess it's possible but somehow very unlikely.

80: The Emperor Dalek
20: The Doctor

I don't see a third option

Dalek in Dalek connected to Internet, Van Stratten was the creator of the Internet based on alien technology and had spent a lot of time examining the Dalek

50: The idea that CE is leaving and they told us that to fool us all.
50: The BBC production team for doing the above to us.

50 God Of All Daleks is Davros (NOT Stavros, as I erroneously typed on another thread! ), who in turn is not, never was and never will be Adam.

25 Bad Wolf is the Doctor

25 Bad Wolf is actually the rest of the Time Lords, who I would like to see saved because someone has to keep The Doctor in check.

Besides, it was a great plot device to justify an adventure as a mission for the Time Lords (a la Genesis Of The Daleks).

But they mentioned that people who touched the Dalek were electrocuted. To gain the knowledge to build one they'd have to reverse engineer it, which normally involves taking it apart, which they didn't manage as the Dalek was in one piece. I really doubt they gained the knowledge to construct one.

I was replying to your post about how ADAM would get enough knowledge to build Daleks.

I pointed out that in "Dalek" there were several opportunities for information about Daleks to be obtained including the Daleks own connection to the Internet - and we don't know what Van Statten's folk had managed to do before the episode - especially as they did have access to other alien technology.

The physical deconstruction of the Dalek may have been the LAST step and not the first.

Also how do we know that these Daleks are built to the same plans as the "Classic" Daleks - it may be a case of form following function and that highly peeved pepperpots with an "exterminate" complex may be the best way to build Evil Machines That Could Take Over The Universe

Bittorrent websites such as hwww.isohunt.com will probably be able to show you the way, not that I'm suggesting you should - this is for information only.

I'll play this game and pretend I don't know, even though the cat has now managed to get free of the bag. Before the spoilers I would have voted spent my money as follows:

30 on Davros
30 on Adam
30 on Derek
5 on Face of Boe
5 on the Master

I only read a few post's as I didn't want my decision to be influenced:

So:

95 Credits on:
Adam reason: firstly... Adam is a symbolic name and secondly where else did the new daleks come from? Adam has enhanced super-knowledge-interface from that implant thing.

I can't remember where the Dalek was found, but his time Adam was there to say hi! and having been in the TARDIS he carried the same energies as Rose and was able to regenerate it with his DNA... or maybe a cross-mutation creating.... Davros.... (who also has a funny thing on his forehead).

BUT the great thing is with Dr Who, and I have gone from curious fan to a BIG fan, is that Who only knows what could happen .... it's just so Who it's... supernatural...

5 Credits on:
Stavros... the Kebab van owner created by Harry Enfield, owing to a typing error in the script.... "is me init!"

- Now I'm going to travel time and read the other posts

Oh, and I DO like the idea that CE is a rogue timelord ... and that DT is luring him to justice... DON'T like the idea of a Scotsman holding another position of power

Well, as the apparent spoilers have ruined the suprise for some - I prefer the 'foreplay' of not knowing , maybe this thread could become an alternate ending thread? I like some of the suggestions people have posted!

How about Bad Wolf is metaphysical evil that pervades the world and will ultimately turn earth into Hell, and after sacrificing himself to save humanity CE morphs into Russel T Davies who looks into the camera and says "I've told you all I can, the rest is up to you!", your TV goes off, the sky darkens, a loud rumble of thunder is heard and lightning flashes on the horizon... thus signals the begining of the end of the world?

- EDIT: I realise now I really need to get out more...

The dalek from episode 6 fell in love with Rose, the invasion is simply a way of getting rid of Mickey, Rose and Dalek live happy ever after, and the doctor and CJ dance (together or separately) as the Tardis tries to decide where to take them!

What a Hollywood ending

... as the Tardis spins off into a tropical sunset to the sound of the Rumba... the music slows and get's deeper... slower, deeper... into a dirge...
... then cut to the planet earth with burning cities and piles of corpses, no more competition for Rose's love...

The End

- EDIT: then pan down and across to an area in shadow... illumination builds up and we see an overweight, be-spectacled ginger top. Chris Evans looks at the devastation around him... the anger is reflected in the muscles in his face... camera pans out to highlight they are the only muscles he's got... "BILLIIIIIIE" he screams at the sky....

.... and then Zig and Zag turn up in a spaceship...
