It's pointless moaning about Derek if you don't do something about it.

What happened to all these people who thought he was such a vile person and were screaming for him to get kicked out?

I thought he was so repulsive and unpleasant that everyone hated him.

If he survives, then people only have themselves to blame if they scream for him to get kicked out next week.

This was the guy who was supposed to be Endemol's favourite.
This is the guy who was supposed to have been given all the breaks.
This is the guy who is was supposed to be be given perks like being allowed to wear a watch.
This is the guy who apparently didn't even need to audition to get on the show.

This is the guy who everyone wanted out because people thought he was a repellent man, a snob, full of petty prejudices, and simply didn't deserve to be rewarded or given air time.

But now I'm hearing that people want to keep him in because they hate Maxwell more?

Is this right?

What's the point?
You'll only end up with a house full of people who you don't even like enough to win the show.

Maxwell is more hated than Derek now?...I don't buy it. Not even on this forum.

So Derek is kept in to piss off Maxwell for one week only.
Great.

What's the point of ditching Sam as some sort of protest against Maxwell?

Derek and Roberto will be nominated next week, one of them goes...so what was the point?

Sam is close to Makosi and Kemal.

It's the Kamosi and Kemal clan with Sam in their number that has more power against Max and co.

Derek and Roberto are much weaker, so the anti-Max effect is temporary for a few days at best.

Oh I don't know.
Maybe people don't really dislike Derek at all. And they actually want Derek in because they want to get angry and hate him.

I don't think people have much right to complain about Derek in future, or proclain that they want him out. I just won't take their complaints seriously.

The guy who apparently people felt was getting all the breaks, favourable editing that hardly revealed that much of what he's like on the live feed, and the guy who people felt was probably one of the "chosen ones" who didn't even need to audition.

Maybe people hate someone, then just forget about their own reasons why they originally disliked them.

At this rate there's not going to be anyone left who people might want to actually win.

If Derek gets you all angry and want him out again next week,..then you'll only have yourself to blame.

But Derek is good value! Rightly or wrongly, he's good to watch. That is worth another week in the house in my book.

Is he?

Funny that because last week people were saying differently and wanted him out.

Sam is now favourite to go, I'd rather sacrifice Roberto, dunno what it is about Sam I could look at her all day, and the stuff Derek comes out with is pure class. Sorry but the Italian must go

I was going to vote out Derek. But Sam has now started bitching about Saskia - behind her back - The moment she found a friend to do it with. I couldn't care less now. The most entertaining result would be Sam going. She seems to be slipping into Vanessa-like pointlessness.

Plus, I've found the viciousness of people on this site towards Saskia, after so many of you felt sorry for Sam for the way she was attacked, very hypocritical. It would be nice to see the back of Sam, so I no longer have to hear this nonsense about her coming out of her shell having been bullied.

I wouldn't worry though. Clearly they won't want to lose another woman, and Derek will be featured so much more this week than insipid Sam will be, he'll end up with the most votes by Friday.

I'm voting Derek out. For me he is the main cause of the wet blanket effect in that house. He removed himself from others long before they apparently detatched themselves from the group.

He's supercilious, judgemental and equates intelligence with being a good person.

He has used Roberto's obsession with food to set poor Roberto against everyone else.

He used Craig's and Lesleh's spite of Sam and encouraged their bullying of her.

He's a manipulative nasty little man who has been the cause of most of the divisions in there.

Alright, .. really, your talking utter rubbish ...

Derek was merely the token "Ahmed" for this series and was never intended as a long game player; ... but how fun he has become, the joy of watching him wind everyone else up to make their lives that little bit more uncomfortable. Thats why I would love for people to keep Derek in the show for longer -- he's what is required for the "none-teenies" who also like to keep up with Big Brother..

I will say that I'm sick of food arguments.
To me that's just not entertaining. Once you've seen a few food arguments you've seen them all.

I think people probably pretend to hate somebody, and are so fickle that they can switch emotions at the drop of a hat, if the trend switches direction.
On the day of the final, all these contestants that people claim to dislike so much right now, like Derek and Maxwell,...people will be loving them, and saying stuff like they're the best BB winner ever.

I think it's become a "pantomime" forum.

Derek is trying to fly under the radar as he is up for nomination. He is trying to be invisible.
He is trying not to do or say anything controversial for a few days so he is not seen on highlights show, so everyone votes for Sam.
I've still voted for him though! My first vote this series!

I think the HM's this year are a poor bunch and Derek brings at least some pantomimish baddie element to a show which could easily turn into a shambles this year.

He has provided most of my cackles this year, and for that reason I think he should stay. If he goes then the only other naturally funny person left is Kemal.

All of them in the DR and therefore only on highlights shows. He contributes very little in the day to day life of the house

No, Derek was attempting to be pro-active after hearing the shambles that was last-weeks "cheer & boo" fest. He understood that to remain in the game he had to take out the "loved" ones.. and that was Saskia & Maxwell .. break those up and you also deplete Anthony "yes sir, no sir.. love you Maxwell" power at the same time.

Give the guy something -- he knew full well to take out the key player, Saskia. He's much more street savvy than you give him credit for..

Derek is a long way from being as entertaining as Ahmed was.
And I don't find Derek entertaining at all anymore (I'm 29 so hardly a "teeny") he has just become a grumpy isolated bore since his little conspiracy game has been rumbled

I think you give him too much credit there - he was after Saskia for personal reasons long before the crowd noise was heard last week and he has still yet to say anything much about Max

Derek has "sussed" out Saskia,...he "rises in my estimation, I'm warming to him".

I want Derek out this week, at the weekend when he was away from the others in a box the live feed was entertaining to watch, the C4 highlight show was one of the funniest from all six series. There is too much bitching and arguing this year, admittedly some of the arguing is entertaining but it does become too much of a good thing. If Derek goes, Roberto will have to reintegrate with the group. I want to to see not only Derek's face, but the rest of them when Sam is saved by the public. We've see all Derek has to give, Sam, I feel there is till more to learn about. (BTW I am far, far from being a teeny, unfortunately, so far, in fact, my daughter who has a spare eviction night Ticket for Friday, and despite the fact I would drive her and her friends to and from the studio, won't let me go )
