The thing about the Slitheen is that their aims were quite understandable - take a piece of 3rd rate real estate and make some money from it, they weren't especially evil or clever, more of a human type of alien

If the race that the Slitheen belong to were on any other planet, they wouldn't need to take human form, so no farting. Doctor Who will be space-borne next series (so I gather) - so maybe they'd work better as themselves, or 'dressed up' as other aliens...
Look out for farting cybermen!

I dont really mind if htey take another form, lets face it there natural form is a bit big, for the cast & crew to work with, as long as we dont get more farting.

it might be intersting to see theDoctor come across a planet which is populate with Siltheen, in another form. Also what happend to the egg of the female siltheen? Is it still in the TARDIS?

Well during 'Bad Wolf' when The Doctor was remembering how they were first transmatted onto the Games Station he said that they had just returned from 'Raxa - what ever the hell the name of the Slitheens planet was', so I presume that they had travelled there to take the egg back home.

Actually, that's a good point - the Slitheen were criminals on their own world so maybe the race is a friendly, albeit noisy one?

They probably wouldn't even be particularly noisy as that was always explaind as a by-product of having to wear the human skin suits - gas exchange I think they termed it in AOL

I must admit i'm really gutted with the new series

Cos RTD had basically confirmed that the daleks will not be back ever again, after an interview between him and a newspaper (the sun)

but still i love my DW, just won't be the same without the daleks

I always think never say never as you just dont know what the future holds. RTD may have said that to curb any expectations that the Daleks will return with any great frequency and also perhaps the Nation Estate may have wanted more money for them to be used so maybe his decision is tactical.

Well the Daleks will be back, of that I have no doubt. But it might not be for awhile.

I think you will find that that has actually been done - albeit a long time ago...

Is it really necessary to start a discussion about series three now when series one hasn't even finished airing yet? Don't get me wrong,I've been enjoying the series but I think this discussion is way too premature! Worse than those radio ads saying book your 2006 Carribean holiday now!

Didn't the Ice Warriors become the good guys in 'The Curse of Peladon', but the bad guys again in 'The Monster of Peladon'? Sorry, but I haven't seen the latter for some while.
