Will BigBro 3 Be As Popular As The Previous Two?
Supernova

The hypes certainly still there, but will it be as popular as last years?

I think it should be, however the introduction of fee's for the Internet feeds may mean that less people get to watch. (people at work etc etc).

What does everyone think?

I think it will be.

I'm looking forward to this one more than the second one. If there's a bit of romance in the first couple of weeks, then the media attention will be bigger than ever.

The fees are nothing but a bad thing, but more and more people are getting digital TV, and it also could mean that more people watch the nightly shows because they won't have seen it during the day.

i think it will be as popular, maybe even more so.

Ch4 have changed BB just enough to keep the core fans and the people that watched last year, aswell as trying to get new viewers.

I think its really down to the contestants wether people actually prefer it to last years, apart from Dean, Josh and Elizabeth, all the other contestants were good to watch, if they all end up being boring, people will switch off, we'l; just have to wait and see.

Well I was worried that BB2 would be a flop, after all it didn't have the element of surprise of the first series. However it was even better than the first, IMHO, particularly because of the ability to watch the live feeds on E4. I think it's possible BB3 will be the best yet.

i remember hearing on the radio that BB2 had started, so i went to the website and looked at the poeple and thought, WTF have they done? IMO it was better than BB1 and I tohught Dean was one of the funniest. He provided a dry, intelligent humour

Dean was boring, I Hope BB3 has more people like Brian, Narinda, Helen and Penny.
They were the best 1's to watch.

Not sure about that.

Narinder was annoying as hell last year. She was a gobby cow.

Penny was the most entertaining to watch that's for sure. You couldn't have planted a more entertaining person in there.

Also, the Paul & Helen will they/won't they episode was superb viewing.

Oh yes! I reckon Celebrity BB turned a lot of people on the the whole idea, people who couldn't be bothered to watch #1, so when #2 started they were interested, took it in, fell madly in love with Helen (well, I did!) and were hooked for good.
Personally, I cannot wait for it to start.

I honestly think that it all depends on who they select to go into the house. Out of the past two series - the only people I wouldn't have put into the house were Amma and Andrew. We heard much of their personal kinks and sexual habits but once inside the house, both were so unentertaining.

I think Josh would have been fun but once inside the house, I think the new boy felt a bit overwhelmed and like his freinds said on E4 - 'we didn't see anything of the real Josh'. Not that anyone knows the real Josh - he name is actually Paul. As is Bubble.

The Nasty Nick incident in S1 and Brian and his catchphrases ('Evil!' 'Demons!' 'you're so RUDE' etc) in S2 have been the BB highlights so far. I just hope we get an interesting bunch in the house this year.

needs time to get a few more conflicts/romances started and then the interest builds up. Once Sunita has left and the nominee is evicted and Sunitas replacement is in I think it will get more interest.

But the Internet feed charges and the half hour C4 programmes will put off those who don't have E4 or won't pay for the internet feed. The C4 programmes don't give enough of an idea of what goes on over the 24 hrs.

I do think BB3 has gone slower than BB2 so far, but that was perhaps inevitable because they haven't had a task so far to put the pressure on, and the housemates have also been a bit more settled than the likes of Penny and Stuart were at the same stage last year.

Specifically, it's hard to say if Big Brother will be as popular as the other two just yet. Obviously, it would be easier to answer the question in retrospect.

I do think that once the group settle more and the personalities come more to the fore there will be some FIREWORKS!

so far I don't find the prog as engaging as last year at this point... I can still remember Penny and her headlining personality, and the reaction of the housemates to her 'eccentricity'! Neither do I personally empathise with anyone in particular this series, which is probably a big reason I'm finding it disappointing. On the whole I do not like the characters to be honest... even my fave 'Spencer' is rather unlikeable in many ways. Maybe when the 'real' BB begins to roll, real tasks, nominations and evictions, the prog will come to life.
