(I gather you're dead again now but I haven't seen your prog for a while) I missed the episode where you explained your reappearance... Was it a twin who got shot? A clone? A Slitheen?

I think someone reversed the polarity of plausible plotlines, then realised their error and undid the jiggery-pokery. Sorry, I'm frightfully techie at times, aren't I? Den will be able to give you a much better answer, I'm sure.

Strangely, I also have an amorphous blob cringing by my sock pile that keeps asking for that very thing. It shivers at my approach. It fears me, and well it should.

I'm doing a weird kind of reduced-volume Muttley-type laugh with added tears at the moment, and have been since I got on this thread. Luckily no one is watching me - except maybe some wildlife out in the garden, who are used to it by now.

Feets not failing me too much right now - achilles still rather dodgy on left foot, part of the reason I bottled out of work today (also the fact it was a 6.30am call about 60 miles away, and would have cost me about £60 in train and taxi fares, since I'm not nearly high enough up the food train to qualify for unit cars )

He also has some puppies in there, and the inside of a dalek quivering by his sock pile.

And I used to live in Tooting many years ago, so I definitely sympathise about river-crossing by cab. Tears don't work, nothing works, then they take you on an 8-mile round trip via all the wrong bits of London to prove it's outside their compulsory limit. Glad you made it home safely in the end - it's like getting across NYC in The Warriors, sometimes, it really is...

So long as it wasn't onion's naughty big blue wardrobe cupboard, complete with bondage rack "shoe tree", quivering inside-of-dalek by sock pile, puppies, and, presumably, onion himself - it sounds a little crowded in there.

Nice to hear Onion built something in his evening classes ( he told me it was a spice rack, but I'd never seen one that had "insert limb here for spicy fun" before so was slightly cautious). We all of course know this is building up to the exciting climax of season 3, in which a sock assimilated Dalek army attempt to take over Earth, but are fatally disorganised by a quick spin cycle within the TARDIS eye.
