If you're on NTL, you'll have 'Video On Demand' & can watch it whenever you like & even pause, rewind or fast forward it all for free.

As willy-nilly said you can watch Dr Who on Video On Demand and they also have a option so you can watch any episode from the recent series. I was glad as I could watch the first episode of this series with the Dalek in it before I watched the final two parter!

I'd imagine they will put it on their IMP whenever that is launched. Or you could try and rent/borrow the DVDs.

I have a hunch that this "The Countdown to....." advertising campaign on BBC1 is leading up to an announce of repeats on one of the BBC Channels, there's no way the BBC would be trailing The Christmas Invasion this early or this widely...stay tuned for info
