just that i notice that meny years since the peter davison

do you think that Chris E will ever reprise his role as the dr.

I wonder how old the doctor was supposed to be on his first regeneration ... I mean 858 years in the same body and then 8 bodies in 42 years.

If I was the Doctor I'd be getting worried

Ah, but how about if, now and then, he left his assistant behind and buggered off to some planets where nothing bad actually happened - Maybe he was only a spring chicken of 400-odd when he pinched the TARDIS...
Actually, I understand his first few hundred years on Gallifrey were sedentary and safe - Only in the last 40 years has he faced any real danger...

I did read a chronology once that explained the Doctor's timeline. If I ever re-find it I'll post it, but I definitely remember they postulated gaps of many years between certain television episodes, particularly when Tom Baker's Doctor was travelling with Romana, who was a time lady and just as long lived.

From what I remember, Romana was a spring chicken of only 200 or so, when she was with the Doctor.
