Yeh I bought it last week.. its extremely good.

I bought their debut album a couple years back, and despite the amount of music I seem to get through its a big favourite of mine.. I also saw them support Travis earlier in the year and they were most impressive.

I havent listened to The Last Broadcast enough yet to pick out the best tracks, but the M62 Song was an instant grower on me.

I remember with the first album it took many many listens before it clicked, and when it clicked it was brilliant, so this one's off to an even better start!

Funny i never heard the track
Ploppycheez-I think that the chimp might have a slightly better notion what your saying if it wasnt written like a bad text message.USE PREDICTIVE MESSAGING ITS SO MUCH HANDIER!!!!!!Sorry thats a little off topic but just a general request to the short sentence generation.
Anyway as to who doves are im not totally sure but i think they may be this black band from ireland who had a few hits doing mainly Thin Lizzy covers about 4 or 5 years ago.
Or am i thinking of somebody else?

Thats someone else (although I have no idea who that is!).

Doves are from Manchester, they use to be an old dance group called Sub Sub before I believe a fire destroyed their equipment and they decided to move on to some proper music (dont get me wrong, I have a couple Sub Sub songs and they are both good, and I have nothing again dance (unless its commercial)).

They are very much critically acclaimed and now have the sales to back it up.. they seem to be one of the few post Radiohead acts who can write a depressing song and still make it uplifting.
