for me it has to be the cliffhanger at the end of the trailer of 'bad wolf'

"How did you survive the time war?"

"THEY SURVIVED THROUGH ME!"

However, I SO wanted that to be Davros!

Also the end of The Doctor dances and most of Fathers day. I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to sad dramas but I never thought I'd be crying at Dr Who lol.

Dr Who has given me hope for the future of television. It was getting a bit dodgy before it started but it has given me hope. It was one of the funniest, saddest, most entertaining programs I have seen in a long time and if I list all my most memorable moments I'd be here forever ”

I'm a bloke. I do blokey things. I watch football, drink beer, pick my nose, scratch my ar$e, everything. But I cried during the parting of the ways. Just a little one, hardly noticeable really,

So many, coming back to earth and seeing life going on as usual and someone selling the Big Issue was quite a choker but my personal favourite was Charles Dickens asking if he'd be remembered in the future and getting his lust for life back again. Fantastic acting, fantastic writing.

Where do you start? So many class moments. Most of the story endings were something special (knocked the cliff hangers into a cocked hat). Of the ones that haven't been mentioned yet:

The whole goodby to Charlie Dickens scene and that magical dematerialsation.

The end of World War Three. Jackie walks off in disgust and Mickey just climbs back on his bin and opens the paper as the camera pulls back. It says so much about their individual feelings without anyone saying a word.

The Doctor's hologram appearing to Rose in the TARDIS brought a tear to my eye.

I'd agree with every single one of these comments - and add that for me, hearing the opening theme tune on a Saturday night on BBC1 for the first time in years, made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and brought a tear to my eyes.

Yes, the opening titles for 'Rose' had that effect on me, from then on it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions through every single episode. Too many good bits for me to pick out individually, so I'll say the whole thing.

I have to admit my most memorable moment was when Rose was stuck in the Tardis in TPOTW telling her mother that she was the mystery girl who was there when her father died. It brought back the whole emotion of Father's Day...

Far too many memorable moments, and here are my top ones for Series One (Season 27). Every Doctor Who fan has a moment that started them on the road to obsession. In my case it seems to be the entire of this series.
No episode of this series seems to be anything less than 'good' (Boomtown being the weakest of them).

Stand out moments:

In Rose: The first appearence of the Doctor
'What's your name?'
'Rose'
'Nice to meet you Rose! RUN!'

In Dalek: The first appearence of the Dalek and the first words:
'EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! YOU ARE THE DOCTOR! YOU ARE THE ENEMY OF THE DALEKS! YOU WILL BE DESTROYED!'

The Entire 'Empty Child:The Doctor Dances' serial. Would work equally well in either episodic format or a UKTV Gold-style movie format. Likely to be immortalised as one of the top 10% of all stories in future years.

In Bad Wolf: Big Brother housemates being transmatted aboard the Dalek spaceships probably to be exterminated or mutated into Daleks.

In The Parting of the Ways: the Emperor Dalek, the 'Loads of Daleks' scenes, Rose Tyler as the 'big bad wolf' not to mention the regeneration of the Ninth Doctor into the Tenth.
