Some good points, at last, from those that could be brave/bothered/confident enough to respond; and the comparison to the ineffably lurid and genuinely corrupting "Eastenders" brings it all back down to Earth with a bump. Not really such a big deal after all, is it?

Possibly the oddest reference in Season#1, in so far as it has the appearance of being anti-gay, but what do others think? Absolutely necessary, or a reference too far?
