Tenacious D - Tribute
Download this song now!! It may say it is not the greatest song in the world but it is!!
The video is also on mtv2 a bit and is great as well. On half of Tenacious D is Jack Black : Comedian and star of the film "Shalow Hal" The hum-dee-dum-didle-ee-dum bit is the best bit. Download it now or buy the album when it is realeased over here |

Just a quick note to say that Jack Black's best film role is in High Fidelity and proves what a great singer he is at the end of the film.

IMHO, Tenacious D's "Tribute" has to be the best song of this year so far.
"F^^k Her Gently" is a pretty crap tune tho I agree the video is something to watch! Damo |

Yeah, just seen the Tenacious D song, quality. I had pretty much ignored it too, I had heard of them before of course, but didnt really know what the deal was. But agreed, the video and song are really good.

They also do a song for The Osbournes (may be theme tune?) but agree with comment about high fidelity. Great twist, expect him to lash out some godawful tune but he really does have a great voice.
Any ideas about an album (release date/title etc)? |

My son made me watch the video & I have to admit that the whole thing was just pure class.

I got the album for my birthday last Tuesady (thanks to my brother!) and it's pretty good -- Tribute shines thru as the best item on there and at 21 tracks or so, it's quite long.
A lot of it is spoken-word stuff, inane ramblings from the pair of them. As previously mentioned, the album's out now, on Epic Records / Sony Music. Joff |
