I will be getting a Wharfedale HT-6180 DVD Home Cinema System at the end of July , does anyone else have one? If so what do you think about it?

It would seem not: does this tell you anything? This is obviously not a very popular item.

Why this on in particular when there are so many top brand items about at great prices?

Wharfedale is a really good make, they make quality, long lasting products.

Yes they are a good make!- but a friend of mine had one for his setup. It sounds OK but not special, I wont recommend going for cheep home cinema systems like that.. i believe its only £80??.. However saying that its fair good for its price, is plays picture disks and DTS so your OK there and 180Watt isn't too bad, the only gripe listening to his was it sounded a bit harsh on the ear, but you sometimes get that with small speakers.

I'm still going to get this one, if I use it well, may get a better one in a few years time.

Only 7 days until I get it now (Sat 30)!
