Are we absolutely certain Den is under the cellar?
We know in detail what happened that night. Chrissie, Sam and Zoe confronted Den, he didn't give a toss, Sharon appeared and heard everything then left, Den then attacked Chrissie, Zoe whacked him, then Chrissie whacked him again (but only seen by Sam).
What we didn't see was the body actually being buried in the cellar and proof positive that he was under there when the builders poured on the concrete. Wouldn't it be fantastic if at some point Sam or Zoe decide to come clean and point the finger at that patch of concrete. It then get's dug up only to contain no body or evidence. The body is the most important evidence of a crime, and I wouldn't put it past Chrissie (or the scriptwriters) to have disposed of it elsewhere, and let Sam and Chrissie think he's down there. She wasn't married to Den Watts without learning a trick or two. So perhaps Sam and Zoe only think they know where the body's buried. Rudi ™

That would be a fantastic twist, can just see Chrissies smug face now! I think this is much more plausible than Den resurrecting again. The second coming of Den!

But I think it is clear that Chrissie believes Den is under the concrete - even if he isn't - I don't think she could be in on any conspiracy - she has sat on top of where he is sposed to be crying with a glass of wine, and spoken to him on another occasion, knocking on the cellar floor - other occasions she has acted uncomfortable about hearing things down there, or people going down there, or feeling a cold chill coming from down there....She thinks he is there whether he is or not. I hope he isn't!!!

Even if he has been under the concrete, Chrissie will have realised that the only realistic thing that can pin this all on her, is the body being found.
If she didn't do it before, I think she may well get the Moon brother who is soft on her to help mave the body and re-concrete the floor. I could just see him doing that. I am absolutely positive he is dead. I just think his final resting place may be far away. Rudi ™

I have thought this myself, Chrissie seems far to confident like she knows if Sam or Zoe do blab to the police she is not going to be found out. Wasn't it just Chrissie who got rid of the body, if so that gives this storyline a bit more weight. This would totally annoy Sam as she is the only one staying for now and give Chrissie the upper hand

Den is dead, Chrissie put the first load of cement over his body.
I think she would have noticed if he wasnt there when she did it. Well you never know, perhaps he just took his webcam and fled, however, I doubt it. |

Eastenders always repeat themselves. Was Den dead?
Theyve done the same story with trevor, mo hit him with an iron, he looked dead, eyes open, blood, she hit him again and ran away when she came back he was gone, made a miraculous recovery and lived to torment all. Den could have easily woke up in the night while chrissie was upstairs, no problem there at all. Now, ross kemp said that when comes back it is to deal with a huge storyline being to do with den swindling them out the pub but the exact quote alluded to interference, "from beyond the grave". Who knows what that means! |

But i think due to the nature of the way Dens demise was written and screened along with the reasons why Leslie Grantham "left" i would say Den is well and truly dead and buried, tee hee hee

As, I said before, I reckon Den clawed his way out before the Cement was delivered, and is laying in wait to seek his revenge (or he could be hiding in the shower)

how long was den supposed to be "dead" for?
he could have waited until chrissie wrapped him in bags and then when she left ripped out of them and put in boulders and rags to make it feel like a body and laugh when she thinks shes buried him as she hasnt really!! |
