I saw this 'leaked' list on Monday. Its not 100% confirmed yet as the clubs and authorities have to give them the ok, which I think will be done by tomorrow or Friday.

It must be subject to change as Chelsea are on 9 times and Wigan once. I thought all clubs had to be on at least 2 or 3 times before new year?

Does anyone know when this list of games will be added to the Sky Live list on page 220 of Sky Text?

There's also now a small list football league tv games on the footbal league website. They include for the first weekend, Sheff U - Leicester, Southampton-Wolves (sat) and Leeds-Millwall (sun). Then Monday Night football with Preston-Derby.
They are going to be updating the list over the next few days to add more games.

AFAIK the agreement is that all clubs will be shown a minimum number of times during the season.

Regular readers will know I'm a Sunderland supporter,in 'that' Premiership season when it became obvious we were going to be struggling all season they jammed all our games into the first half of the season so that they fulfilled the agreement and didn't have to bother showing us any more! The away match at Man Utd on New Years Day was the last time we were on live during 'that' season. And before anyone replies with some sarcastic comments, yes,I WILL concede that we were absolutely dreadful all season long!

Not to mention Newcastle are on EIGHT times?!?!?!?! WHY? Why not just show some boxing if you're waiting for a fight? How do mid-table Newcastle get on twice as much as a CL qualifying team? Insane.

this is not the confirmed list as most clubs inc Chelsea, Arsenal, MU and everton have not confirmed that some of these games can happen...so this list is as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike

How do you mean "some of these games can't happen" - how many of Man Utd's games "won't be happening"? :D Then again, I hope its the Chelsea one.

I've paid bloody good money to a nasty man for my season ticket.

The list has been on many sites posing as "official" and launched by Vic Wakeling etc etc. Apologies if it is a hoax, however the site I saw it doesn't usually get it wrong.

Yes Villa should be on alot more then they are. The reason why newcastle are on so much is becuse they have a big fan base their for they will pick up a lot of viewers.

That list will differ significantly because a few of the games on the Football League list clash with those on the Premiership one, such as on Sunday 18th September.

It seems a bit strange that the Birmingham v Man United game is a 4pm kick off on the Wednesday between Xmas and New Year - that day isn't a bank holiday

Slightly off topic, but Liverpool v TNS on 13th July is on ITV2.

Liverpool's other qualifying round home legs will also be on either ITV1 or ITV2.

    Source. The Guardian's Media site.

That always happens on the 28th December. It's mandatory.

You have to remember that these are only half of the sky live fixture list, obviously Newcastle won't get as many in the second half, and Everton will have a few more. Interesting that Chelsea got 9 and Man utd got 8, considering the fact United's fanbase is still considerably higher than Chekski's.

Everton's website says that they will be on tv more times this coming season than in any other previous campaign.

For the record, they were on tv 8 times last season out of the 88 matches, of which 3 were during the 1st half of the season. According to the unofficial list, they are on 4 times.

However, Bolton's website is cautioning supporters that "reports in the media which suggest that certain games have been selected for live broadcast by Sky are inaccurate."
