Immensely!

I must admit I wasn't expecting much when I heard she'd been cast, but she really was exceptional.

She was great. I had less concerns about her than many, having seen her act extremely well in the Canterbury Tales prior to DW. But she was a revelation......long may it continue!

Oh God, Yes! Without a shadow of a doubt.

She (and her relationship and chemistry with eccleston) were the best things about the programme.

She brought an emotional centre and moral honesty to DW - she's fantastic!

Given her performance in Canterbury Tales why did anyone doubt that she'd do a good job

I missed that and only knew her as teen singer and wife of other CE - So I was pleasantly surprised!

I'd heard that she was good in Canterbury Tales but hadn't seen it, so mixed feelings when I heard she'd been cast. She's been a revelation. That part in the final episode - when she's absorbed the vortex - that keeps replaying in my head. I think she's brilliant in it and hope she stays for a while.

I saw her in Canterbury Tales too and was pretty confident of her abilities.
The character annoyed at times, but Billie did a pretty sterling performace imho!

Canterbury Tales was excellent, and she didn't disappoint at all in DW either!

I have to agree with everyone!

She was very good, I hadnt seen her in Canterbuty Tales so was very doubtfull when I heard she had been cast, but she was Fantastic, can not imagine it without her, but I am sure if it had been someone else we would be saying the same thing about her

I never really saw her in Canterbury Tales but had heard and seen clips of her performance and the critics reaction to it

She was outstanding on Dr Who though

I thought she was great. Preferred her performance to Christopher's to be honest. I actually felt for her when her Father died

Let's just say that I felt she edged it as the true star, and I'm miserable about having missed the Canterbury Tales.

This is it. Each one is superb. Billie's not the only star in it!

I think that Billie has been excellent this series (as has CE). I had seen her in CT and remember being surprised then how good an actress she was considering how dire she was in her singing career.

She was an excellent choice to play Rose and I am relaly pleased that she is going to be around for the whole of Series 2

My head.... it's killing me... - that bit, yes?

Or "I looked into the Tardis, and the Tardis looked into me..."

Another one here who hadn't seen Canterbury Tales - deliberately! Thought she'd be so bad I couldn't stand watching. Boy, was I ever wrong.

The whole series hung on Rose for me. I absolutely sobbed my eyes out in Fathers Day, just as much as I did when CE regenerated.
Gawd bless Rose - she was us, the audience for the whole series - why is this happening? Who's that? What does that mean?

I know she won't be the same in series 2, but I hope she won't change too much.

I have to say someone else that was very doubtful when they heard that Billie Piper had been cast.....I couldn't have been more wrong; she was the heart of the series.

Didn't watch CT and wasn't sure what to think when they cast her as Rose but I was surprised when she turned out to be a cracking actress. As someone mentioned earlier, she out-performed CE some of the time.
