Sorry if this is a dumb question but does anyone know if there will be a new x-factor and Sharon Osbourne being in it? the other series was fab.

Yes there will be an 'X Factor 2', with the same judges. However, the only thing in question is if there's going to be an 'X Factor 3'.

Ive heard there definately wont be one next year as its pop stars back looking for a boy and girl to form a duet!!!

ITV should be ashamed of themselves i can't belive people watch this rubbish just look at steve if the show was so big why didn't G4 or steve's singles sell WHY?????

Baily... G4 had a number one album and it remained a best seller for several weeks. They also had a sellout tour.
Steve didnt do as well as G4 but i didnt like him much anyway.
Rowetta will probablys (and hopefully) have a number one album next month.

Oh and to top it all off X factor gets millions of viewers every week so if you dont like it then you dont have to watch it.

If Rowetta has a no.1 album, I will be surprised and then if she has another top 10 album with her 2nd, i'll be shocked.

Steve Brookstein- LOL, its all looking very shaky for him, just as predicted! Another Michelle McManus!!!!

G4 on the otherhand have done well so far, as predicted! Well deserved - they have (or at least the lead singer has) a long music career ahead.

Anyway I will be watching X-Factor 2, eventhough it looks like many potential careers are doomed from the start if they get that far, that is! And only 1 lasts at least 3-4 years, perhaps more but as I said G4 will last a long time. Plus I'm glad Sharon's back aswell, as I think people were very rude about her last year, I'm glad she's gonna defy them all!

That's because she was so rude to many contestants, look at her flare up with Steve for an example. I used to like her before X Factor but she turned me right off her and I'm sure many people are the same. And I'm not a Steve fan.

She was only being truthful, like Simon Cowell is on American Idol...and with regards to Steve on the final show, he deserved it.

At least when Simon is truthful he explains himself like a record manager would, Sharon just couldnt give a toss and started including his family and close friends in her attack.

I felt sorry for him that evening and was surprised at how calm Simon was over it when he said 'There's a lot more I could say back to you but this is neither the time nor the place.'

Yeah, but something obviously triggered Sharon to say the things she did live on air, which at the time I remember the stories about how Steve was really like backstage and his personal life.

The last series got millions of viewers maybe, but the future of the show depends on how this latest series performs, its hit or miss for ITV as they are slowly becoming aware that their audience is becoming tired of these format shows

Totally agree with you there! I am a massive fan of Sharon and i think the outburst made me realise that she isn't scared to say how she feel's and as you said there WAS something that triggered her outburst and who are we supposed to believe Steve - Who we don't really know much about and who most of the other contestants and Sharon and Louis don't really like! Or... Someone who we know is honest and who we have seen on TV for a couple of years? I know which one i'd choose! And look, we are still talking about this about a week and a half away from the new series! Steve was horrible to Sharon during rehearsals and he got what he deserved! Probably one of the reasons why simon and steve didn't say anything back to her is because they know that she has a wonderful mouth (if that makes sense) and she can say some of the best lines in her defence! Personally i think people are starting to realise who Steve Brookstein really is!! Talentless and not the nicest of people - Fake! Oh and guess what? Sharon was the first to realise this, but who listened to her... well not many people did! Maybe in the new series they might believe her! Well you never know!

LOL, that it makes to sense to me, and fake and smarmy are words i'll always remember Mr Brookstein for. I listened to Sharon because I'm an Osbournes and Ozzy Osbourne fan anyway but still I just couldn't believe the reaction from GBP as really it was plain to see what the guy was really like. I hold Sharon in the highest respect for what she did, it took real guts.

Just a couple of things. First I think it was planned for Sharon to be nasty to Steve so that he'd get a sympathy vote.
Second in these reality shows singers get overexposure. We are simply bombarded with their voices and songs over weeks and then it is little wonder that we go off them pretty soon. However real talent stays the test of time like Will Young. On this note I think Rowetta going earlier in the competition was good. We were left wanting more and when her album(S) come out they will go to number one, so be prepared to be shocked!! I personally can't wait for the release.

If you asked people now, how many people who said they love Steve and hate Sharon would still say that? I'm not sayimg that those people who hated Sharon now love her but i'm just saying how they probably don't like Steve as much as they used to. Because lets face it, Steve isn't giving his fans what they want. An album of covers and a cover single! He is just fake, too Smiley for my liking and quite frankly a nasty piece of work, oh.. and talentless!

I don't think it was planned for her to be nasty to Steve! I think she planned it before the show in her own mind because she did have a go at him twice on his verdict! I think it was due anyway! He deserved it! What he said to her during rehearsals was just strange because what sane person would talk to (or ignore) such a respected person in the music industry? (after all she is the most important person in Rock!) Personally, I think Sharon has been proved right, and i think the only reason she said those things to him is becuase she knew she would be! I hope people listen to her more during the next series, maybe they might learn something!?!

But how do we know that Steve actually said those things to Sharon?

I don't actually care what did or didn't happen back stage, I just remember week by week going off Sharon Osbourne and that last week was the final straw for me. Two wrongs don't make a right and to be so vile and vindictive on 'live' tv, as some kind of retaliation to Steve's supposed earlier actions was low and slightly playground-ish and very unprofessional.

Sharon is gobby, it doesn't take guts to do what she did, if you're big headed and obnoxious enough, you'll say what you'll like and she did. She might be a clever manager, but that doesn't make you a nice person - in fact I'd imagine you need to be ruthless - nor does it make that behaviour acceptable.

I very much doubt I'll be watching this new series simply because I can no longer stand seeing that woman on my tv. I wish she'd kept to her word when she said she wouldn't return.

BTW - I wasn't and am not a Steve fan

Hooray, someone who agrees with me about Sharon. I however will be watching the new series because I was addicted to the last series but I still don't like Sharon Osbourne, from her attack on Steve and attacks she has done in the past on many other people you can easily see where her daughter Kelly gets her spoilt attitude comes from (having said that I like her music). I pity Ozzy and Jack as they seem the best of the lot.

See what you doing, you're slagging the family off, and if you think Sharon is gobby and obnoxious, then look who's talking.
