Vodafone Contract.. First Bill. Is it wrong?
Hiya,
I have joined Vodafone, and just got my first bill. Sadly the offices are closed so I thought you guys might be able to help. My contract is £25 a month, and with that I get 200 minutes plus 250 text messages. It is an 18 month online tariff. Well, I just looked at my first bill online, and it says I have no extra charges and have 71 minutes of calls rolling over to next month. However, my bill is for £50!!!!! Do Vodafone take out a month in advance or something for the first bill? Nothing was mentioned to me, and I really need my mind put at rest!! Thank you for any help in advance. Mark

You will have been charged for 2 months on your first bill.

a month in advance? yes, this is normal for line rental. its how i've been billed for the last 3 years.

Always pay a month in advance. and pay for additional clls a month in arrears.
vod tend to send your first bill after about 6 weeks, which will be for 2 months, then the 3rd month a couple of weeks later. |
