Does homechoice work on other ISP?

Ok, I know that in order to get homechoice you have to get broadband from homechoice as well, and that is currently limited to homechoice's LLU'ed exchanges my question is after signing up with Homechoice, does the box still work when attached to another network, and how fast the connection speed needs to be in order for it to keep working, this has a potential to be something like slingbox where I could go overseas and stil have my TVs with me, that would be worth renting out a storage somewhere with a phone line and subscribe to homechoice, taking the box with me when I move overseas

In case that it doesn't work with other ISPs, has anyone try tunnelling

Not possible at all.

The important stuff to remember is that although the network runs on TCP/IP it's not on the Internet.

Their ISP side of things runs on top of their network so although you can access the internet through their network you can not access their content network via the internet.

If you want to watch sutff overseas you'll need a video encoder somewhere and I'd suggest that homechoice isn't the best solution for this as the box turns itself off regularly.
