Mine was Hard-Fi's "Stars of CCTV" although, before that I bought Ben Folds' "Songs for Silverman", Rilo Kiley's "Take Offs and Landings" and Brendan Benson's "One Mississippi".

I bought 8 cds all at once last week - Bomber by Motorhead, the first Whitestripes album, three Foo Fighters albums (but not the latest one yet) and three David Bowie albums to top up my collection.

having more of a fetish for vinyl than for cds, i don't buy many albums as such.

i did buy a copy of Talking Heads "77" a few weeks back off ebay, and also bought Public Enemys' "it takes a nation of millions..." plus Souls of Mischief "93 'till infinty"

That's the last one I bought, too. Before that, Ice Cube's Greatest Hits, and Rhythm and Gangsta by Snoop Dogg.

Currently in my basket are:

Desaparecidos - Read Music, Speak Spanish
The Magic Numbers - The Magic Numbers
Tom McRae - All Maps Welcome
Rilo Kiley - Take Offs and Landings
The Tears - Here Come the Tears
Martha Wainwright - Martha Wainwright

and the following albums I already have on CD but want on Vinyl:
