Good acts - but the sound mixing is really crap (at least on BBC2 Scotland on Sky)

This is so much better than Live8 last Saturday. Will looked gorgeous - even with the short haircut!

The crowd are loving it. I have been watching on BBC1 Scotland (941) and they have got as far as The Corrs and I had to come to bed.

Well erm, it was good, but certainly not better than the concert on Saturday or Live Aid in 1985. Only available on BBC Scotland and BBC 3(highlights) so that kinda sucked.

It was much better and thats me not being biased. The crowds were, as Scots crowd always are if they like you, brilliant. If they dont like you, well, you have to learn how to dodge rotten fruit LOL.

Better? Rubbish

You had not that good artists like Sugarbabes, Natasha Bedingfield, Jamie Callum, Will Young, Ronan Keating, McFly, Beverly Knight and the Proclamiers...it was more like Party In The Park then Live 8.

I wasnt talking about the acts although there were certainly more high profiled acts than you just mentioned. And all of them were excellent I might add. The crowd make a gig. The crowd in London were awful probably mainly due to being seperated from the golden circle to outer circle. Yeah, sure, they cheered but there was hardly any atmosphere there. I'll use a saying from up here to describe the crowd at Murrayfield tonight. THEY GAVE IT LALLDAY. You seen how Robbie got the crowd going on Saturday? It was like that ALL the time at the gig tonight. All acts were treated like they were the best thing since sliced bread.

Part of the concert did not look live. Radio had better coverage and for it to started on BBC 2 at 8pm and end just after 10.30pm was crap for it start on radio just after 7pm and ended 11.30pm. Some of the acts were good but the BBC could have done better for TV.

In my opinion the Scottish concert was miles better than the Hyde Park one. And I'm not talking about the artists necessarily. The production seemed slicker and Edith seemed to make sure her interviews were on time.

And you are right about the crowd - they were obviously up for it. Did you see Edith interviewing the singer from Texas? She said they shouldn't have had the Golden Circle which really put a dampener on the crowd in London.

Having said that I am, of course, biased because Will was on it. His song with James Brown was brilliant - same one as at the Olympic Torch concert but much much better.

It is a travesty that it wasn't shown on terrestrial television in the rest of the country - thank goodness for Sky!

It was amazing, even though the outside broadcast sound was poor at times you could tell that the Scottish crowd really got into it and loved it all.

Annie Lennox was wonderful and thank goodness that they got Neneh Cherry for '7 seconds'. I could not bear to hear Dido ruin it one more time.

Atmosphere was far better (Stadium people, better than an open park. Learn from it), acts were far inferior tbh.

The Proclaimers were fantastic, Marti Pellow looked like he'd just stepped out of rehab \o/ , and you got Neneh Cherry instead of sodding Dido.

How many more people are going to butcher Redemption Song?

That aside, weak line up, better atmosphere.
