don't understand patriotism other than it is for the small-minded. proud of your nationality? why? what part did you play in what country you were born in and what nationality you are? none! so why don't you go and ACHIEVE something yourself and then be proud of that instead.

however, in saying that, craig's brand of patriotism is a "get them all out of our country" which is more racist and xenophobic then patriotic.... but these often come hand in hand unfortunately because patriotism breeds a sense of superiority.... which breeds racism.

After what happened in london today they will definitely show this conversation tonight and it will definitely increase the ant max and craig's popularity... and having pride in your country is not xenophobia so stop looking for stuff to damage their popularity

I've been able to lip read during sound dips, and believe me - if some of the things he's said were broadcast, there would be a public outcry. It's not Max we should worry about - it's Craig. He's a dangerous little boy. Of course, I'm not going to state what he's said as it could be deemed as libellous. But take my word for it - he's nasty.

The most glaring thing about this episode, was the fact that they brought it to science!!

Science was born in yorkshire, speaks with an yorkshire accent and is english/british. Surely they know this, which makes it even more sinister.

Maxwell, anthony, craig, and a lot of people in this country seem to like to pick and choose when a black person is english/british to make an arguement.

If anybody is looking for an insight into science and other black peoples tough exterior and views, this is a good starting point.

I have many black friends and this is their number one hate.

In the light of today's atrocities, a seige mentality will take over. In this environment, it's possible I fear, that these oafs could become folk heros for these ultra-nationalistic rantings, making them HUGELY popular, on the back of these circumstances.

What Craig was mouthing that he had hoped they would put in the BB house was ASYLUM SEEKERS. Look at the footage and it's quite obvious that's what he says.

Craig was saying he'd hoped they'd put in asylum seekers so he could have a go at them.

It is definitely racist to say you want people from other countries to worship you and your country as a god.

I'd also like to point out to Craig that the grandparents of many immigrants (e.g. from the Caribbean, Australia, NZ, India, Nepal etc) ALSO died to save Craig's country in the world wars!

I don't think he was saying 'asylum seekers' - I think he was saying something else, that was rather racist.

I promise you he was saying asylum seekers, if they ever replay the footage it is quite clear, he mouthed it several times because Max and Anthony weren't understanding, and as that's what I thought he said teh first time I could confirm it the subsequent times he mouthed it.

I could never understand how anyone could be proud to be from a particular country..

What has any country done to make you feel proud? - It doesn't make sense.

Any asylum seekers viewing would laugh themselves silly at Craig and his type.

To all those saying 'Whats so bad about being patriotic?" - Nothing, nothing wrong with being patriotic. But when being patriotic borders on the line of being racist, And in fact you try to cover up your racist views as just being patriotic, that is out of order.

I don't think there' any point in beating ourselves about Craig's views. It's clear he harbours some deeply unsavoury thoughts.

craig is a silly little boy who for first time in his life has an audience, i want science to stay ,i do think hes only genuine one in there.but if he goes ill be pleased for him that hes away from that lot.

Yes I saw it too & this is accurate. I don't like Max at all but Max said nothing wrong, whilst Craig was a total "Dim Wit".

I call it covert racism when he was asking for English chips. I remember reading an article abouit racism against an English person who had visited a Scottish pub, and the locals suddenly played Flower of Scotland on the dukebox repeatedly, and made other comments. It was a sly and cowardly way to to tell the English person that he was unwelcome.

I believeChannel 4 deliberately included more black people than before with some racists to stir up trouble to make more money.
