Hopefully, if the schedules haven't been too affected...
"Genius: Rory Gallagher Live" Cha.4 at 00.30 A.M.

To remind me of one of my first L.P.s "Irish Tour" '74.

Thanks for that....just been reading about Rory again today in last month's Classic Rock.

Tattoo'd Lady, Shinkicker, Moonchild....the list goes on. The man is much missed.

Thank you for posting that. I might have missed it otherwise.

I was a big fan of RG in the late 60s and early 70s and I saw him live a few times. I have not listened to his music for years, but I did see that a "best of" CD hit the shops recently.

I remember buying the albums (vinyl of course, this was years before CD), Taste and On the Boards, with tracks such as Born on the wrong side of Time and Blister on the Moon .

I am going to have a nostalgia blast with that programme. Thank you.

Didn’t Rory die a while ago?

Good fun, wasn't it?

Shame about the camera work - for the budding guitarists (and some who reached their "plateau" too!) on the first part. Very much a "seventies" frustration though?

Much better on the "Cork footage" - but then I didn't know those songs. "Shadowlands(?)" was sooo nice, and there are seemingly so many of them. He was just so "precise"

Sadly indeed, another one departed to the "great gig in the sky" and all that...

Rats - I missed this.

I am a fan of Rory's & was lucky enough to see him in concert back in 1988.

Anyone know if this is repeated?
