Well from what i've heard the MTV production was poor with way more bulls**t and interviews/talking rubbish in than the BBC production. Therefore i'm not sure there's a need for the BBC to reshow it. It has being showing highlights from all the concerts (including Hyde Park) on BBC Three in the last few days.

The MTV and VH1 repeats will probably be a mixture of Hyde Park and Philly.

Alex is right, we don't need a repeat, because as far as I know we only missed one song (REM - Man On The Moon) and that was because they changed their setlist and the director and/or producer thought they'd finished. The BBC coverage was exactly as it should have been- show everything on stage and then fill the gaps with interviews, general chatter and some clips from the other concerts. What a shame that wasn't the way the Edinburgh concert was done- there was certainly a good few songs not shown there, yet we got plenty of banal interviews. At least we got most of the concert, it could have been a lot worse- almost certainly would have been had another broadcaster been showing it.

We've had a full repeat of the Philly show on BBC 3 for anyone who wanted to see it.

Plus, and this is probably the main reason, MTV and VH1 have probably paid quite a lot of money for the rights to repeat the concerts. If they're fortunate then the original deal allowed them repeats for a few weeks before the rights return to the Live 8 organisers and the acts themselves.
