I am so goddamn cross right now.

I started an eviction thread and then so did Master Ozzy, at which point the one I had started was on 25 replies.

I even posted a link to the original thread early but recieved pathetic remarks such as 'this one's better' 'this one's cosier'

I alert the mods via PM and the alert button and no merge takes place.

What is wrong with these boards?

What is the point of starting a thread if someone else sees your one and starts their own of the exact same subject?

A thread I replied to only five minutes ago is already on page 3. Dont see why people cant add on to existing threads about a topic.

Sadly, this board has become the channel4 board.

Everyone sensible from here has moved to real channel4 board and are talking sensibly on a non hysterical forum about tonights events.

Yeah, I've noticed this forum has rapidly gone downhill in the last few weeks with all the channel4 users... sigh..

I find it easier to just read and not bother posting now, as no one can have a constructive discussion, it gets personal or you branded a chav or something if you don't agree with them.. sad.

I agree, it is annoying. And I would've thought the mods would be a bit more strict on it, being as it's their bandwidth that's being eaten up.

Duplicate threads are caused cos a few people start one up at the same time - thats all. Jeez!

Calm down its not that important. It's bound to happen! There's loads of people reading and posting on the forums we can't do everything to work with each other can we! They will merge them eventually.

I hate duplicate threads but what I hate even more than them is forum members who seek some sort of Kudos by starting popular threads. It's obvious the OP is one of these people. If everyone ignores your thread use the duplicate one that has become popluar instead.
