E4 Interactive - Problems
Laggy
25-05-2002
Hello,

What does everyone think of BBi?

Personally Ive been having loads of problems with it.

Again, the same as last year, the sound is out of sync (If I remeber back to last year this only applied to Grundig digiboxes)

Also I don't like the way how you have to enter one menu then another to get to the live feeds

Also WHY NO FULLSCREEN FEEDS!?!? Do C4/E4 think we like looking at tiny 1/4 screens?

I don't know if this has been fixed - but all 4 feeds keep switch back and forth to the E4 feed (you an see BB live in the corner) and the normal feeds - very annoying . . . And there were tjhe wrong sound feeds which didn't go with the correct picture.

Anyway - what does everyone else think

The reason there are 4 feeds, is due to compression allowing 4 channels broadcast as one. If they allowed them to go full-screen, it would make the picture look very blockly (it's at the current size as it is seen clearly by the human eye).

Cheers,
Mark

Yet again more technical problems with BB3. I am fast losing patience with Channel 4/E4. I've had E4 interactive on most of the afternoon. The time is 18:42 as I am writing this post, I've had sound of birds chirping and airplanes taking off for the last 10-15 minutes.......what the hell is going on?????

Anymore of this and they'll be losing a dedicated BB viewer.
I hope they sort this soon.

the chirping birds/aeroplane was present last year.

Its to silence any language or legal stuff that shouldn't be broadcast.

I was watching during this time on the Web Feeds, and I can assure you that bit of censorship was definitely for reasons of taste, if not legality Not a case of the language but the subject matter.

Wouldn't mind enlightening us as to the subject nature would you?

Neil updated it in his article: http://bigbrother.digitalspy.co.uk/a...hp?art_id=1887 so I guess it's within the forum rules here
