You have got to be so naive to think ppl are going to sit in deep contemplation over BB, relax, enjoy and thank God its not you in there

It doesn't need to be deep contemplation. We are influenced by the housemates behaviour over a long period. If we are making judgements mainly by looks then why wait 9 weeks ? They aren't going to get any better looking over that time. The only factor which will change is their behaviour. If it's looks that are the most important then let's get it over with now and stop wasting time.

and the number of 14 year olds outside the big brother house each time someone gets evicted says that BB has the same audience as the teenie pop industry

I find it really sad that some people want to keep someone in the house just because of the way that they look.

Can't we keep in the ones who make us laugh instead of people like kate lee & pj who just sit there all day motionless waiting for their personalitys to arrive

What is this fixation with the pop industry ? This is Big Brother. We see what we get and we get what we see. We make the decision and in theory, a 14-year-old wouldn't vote as they would not be the phone bill payer. To suggest the voting is carried out largely by 14-year-old is wrong.

Well if you fancy someone you fancy someone and it swings your decision. Like I wouldn't have voted for sunita cos I though she's cute and that's that.

Ok, that's your decision. Most people would vote according to personality issues. If we are to consider looks then why isolate the housemates from the rest of the world. Meeting outsiders won't change the way they look but it may change their behaviour.

hmm do people vote purley on personality? that's what i'm disputing. For instance would kate be voted out if she had caroline from BB1's personality? I think the 2 go hand in hand and are difficult to seperate.

Also if people do vote on personality then why did craig win BB1? He wasn't exaclty a personality. Did Brian win BB2 because of his personality or because he could entertain? I don't think the issue is black and white enough to say one or the other.

Brian's ability to entertain was part of his personailty. Craig won following the way he dealt with the Nick issue. None of that had anything to do with looks. Craig was an outsider until he dealt with Nick. His looks remained the same though.

No I'm not saying craig was voted on looks but was he really voted on personality or just the way he dealt with Nick thing? See I reckon overall Anna had a much better personality but Craig just got lucky with the Nick thing and won fans that way.

plus, no, unless all you know is really ugly boys and girls, she is not *that* pretty.. but thats not the whole point i was making... she also seems a little dull, and i haven't seen much intelligence... maybe she's downplaying it to fit in with the rest of the housemates, who knows
