Scottish Gig Crowds

What is it about Scottish crowds that get so many bands to say how superb they are?

Is it that crowd are so pissed up they can't tell if the band is having a good gig or not so have a good day/night themselves?

Is it that they don't get as many band visiting as they do elsewhere so got out to enjoy themselves more when bands do come?

Is it they are just more laid back and chilled out so enjoy themselves more naturally?

Or is it something else?

That one. Was for the Celtic fans at Ewood, and considering the shambolic lineup at Live8 (aside from N'dour, Cherry and The Proclaimer ) it must've been that there.

Plus, I think having it in an actual arena as aposed to the local park helped.

It was meant for Ratinho! Forgot to quote the line I was making the gesture to

I'm in (a very hot and sticky) Kemnay.

I thought it was particularly well put myself!

What was shambolic about the Live 8 Lineup then? It was a political rally more than a gig anyway with what little I saw of it.

Scottish crowds are more receptive to bands than the English, probably because of the fact that not so many tend to come here. Having been to a few gigs in Englandshire they have more than their share of pissheads too.

Erm, the line up was full of s**t acts. It's an opinion, and checking the acts again, a pretty valid one.

You forgot to add....In your opinion Seemed to be plenty of decent acts on the bill, each to their own though.

I stand corrected I could be pedantic and say you said "its AN opinion" as opposed to its MY opinion but I won't. The heat is clearly getting to me today
