Science's rants have a degree of wit and quirkyness... unlike yours.

I hated Science to start with, but I think I actually want him to win now. He's the only one who won't bow down to either 'team'. If Makosi has a go at him he doesn't run off crying or sulk, he just laughs at her. He's secure enough to not need backup or a team of little followers. He has his own opinions and attitudes and sticks by them. He doesn't bitch, he just gets on with it.

In a house of shallow, nasty examples of the human race, Science is the closest thing to a decent human being there is except Eugene. If either of those two win, I'll be a happy bunny.

Science is not self centered. How can anyone be self centered when they share food even when one group wants the other to be left out.

Science does listen to advice especially from older people, the problem comes when other people refuse to listen to him... they have been very rude to Science.

Science does shout, but he doesn't shout AT people(unless they are shouting at him). He is shouting to be heard by a completely rude and ignorant bunch of people who all think they are above him and are too busy listening to the sound of their own voices to hear anyone else.

He is a kind, thoughtful young man with a sense of honour at his very core.

OK, he is a bit loud and innarticulate at times, especially within the group (who persist on not giving him his voice) but his DR moments have often been absolute gems.

I've said before on this forum, I would take pride in my son having many of Sciences attributes, rather than those of the other male HM's.

I don't have a favourite - but if I was asked who DESERVED to win - then I think Science would be my pick - and I'll bet that he uses the winnings wisely.

I didn't realise it was started by les-d. I just thought it was another anti-Science thread by Lather. Their threads are very alike in their hatred of Science though.

You wouldn't say that if he was posh and had wealthy parents.

I doubt the other housemates would be as dismissive of him if he were wealthy.

Now come on, I like Science but be fair. Of all the HMs Science is the least capable of listening to others and the least prepared to take things that other people say on board.

Sorry, I disagree. I think Science is very willing to listen and learn when people talk to him on a level. He doesn't listen(and I don't blame him) when people talk down to him in a superior and condescending way.

That's not true at all. There have been plenty of times where people have made perfectly polite valid requests of him that he has refused for no good reason.

The other day Orlaith asked him to stop shouting because she had a headache and he refused on the basis that he "needed" to do it.

Not listening to people is very rude. You don't get to set out the rules under which you are prepared to listen.

He is an obnoxious scumbag. I actually loathe him, why MUST he shout like he did the other day? He was nicely asked by Orlaith not to shout which is quite a reasonable request you will agree? - because she had an headache. Most people would give in to this request, but no, Science (quote) 'HAD' to carry on, yes he had to because he is a childish fool who carried on because she had asked him to stop. It seems that people on this forum always excuse Science for absolutely everything he does. Science threw a glass of water at Kemal when he wanted to be listened to, which to me is extremely unadult-like and pathetic, yet on this forum people excused it. Just imagine it in your head, anyone else doing that, and there would be UPROAR! Look what happened when Maxwell did it! People have double standards. On this forum Science would probably be excused for taking a dump on everyone's heads when they are sleeping, people think he is messianiac and always correct. I think he is a thieving vile imbecile who NEEDS TO GET OUT!!
