Now that we are all over the initial outrage of being charged to watch the live net feeds - i think its time we go ch4 to listen to the voice of the people.

I think (regardless of wether you think it will work) everyone on the BB3 board should email channel 4 telling them how outraged we are that there is no Widescreen coverage and also that the feeds should fill more of the screen when you select them!

Personally i think when you select a feed it should fill all the screen and then the news ticker should be right at the bottom of the screen so you can still see the latest news while watching a full screen feed.

Anyways IF you email them post a short message here to say you have emailed them, and we'll see how many people are actually going to try to do something about it.

And what email address are you going to send the email to ???

I want to complain that there are no interactive services available in Ireland when there was no problem with them last year.

Why don't we try to get them to start BLEEPing offending words instead of cutting out the sound while we're at it?

I don't think C4 gives a toss, and I don't think they'll read e-mails, but how about Big Brother's Little Brother? I've already sent my complaint to them at bblb@channel4.com. I don't expect an answer, but I think someone does read the e-mails, so if they get flooded, it will be noticed.

Perhaps if someone would care to produce a standard email that we could all duplicate and 'sign' and email ourselves? just a thought.

Well the whole ROI thing is number one on my list of complaints.

Oh and while you are at it can you also mention that the web feeds seem to cut out every 20 minutes of so causing you to have to reconnect. What's the point of paying if the service is not up to standard.

Yeah, and then u have to wait a few mins before u can reconnect... summut to do with the security system, I presume to stop folks getting urls to the live feed and using them all night or whatever. But it's a pain.

I do not think anyone now has a cat in hell's chance of getting C4 to do anything to change their existing plans or minds about anything it seems. But maybe if ppl keep complaining then there will be questions asked as C4 does not want to have a bad reputation over this - it depends for survival on advertising, and advertisers will not want to be associated with a prog getting really bad press and lots of viewer/customer complaints - that is the way to nuke C4 longer term, honest.

I sent a mail to Big Brothers Little Brother yesterday regarding interactive coverage in Ireland. I turned on the request a read receipt in Outlook which lets me know if the mail has been read. Nearly 24 hours later and still no receipt.

Will try again and let you all know how I get on.

I thoufght that the charging for streams was because they are now hosted on the Real servers and not Terra's like in previous BB's - so it is in fact Real that are being fat cats not CH4/Endemol

Instead of flooding Channel 4 with emails, sign the online petition at www.bigbrotherlive.tk. I will email the full database of names and comments to Channel 4 when we make more progress.
