It may not be No.1 so relax hehe! James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" could climb back up the charts to No.1! My source is Victoria Newton's Bizarre column in The Sun I don't think that it's there now.
So watch out Elton, your dream have been electrocuted! Sorry for the cheesy joke a Elton's song is called Electricity!

LOL okay, but James Blunt at No.1??? What the hell, that song is so basic, anybody could write it in 5 mins flat, even my 2 year old nephew. But then again, its not as bad as the other trash.

Hmmm....

Youre beautiful...its true, there must be an angel with a smile on her face, and i dont know what to do, cos i'll never be with you........SEE WHAT I MEAN???

Sadly Mariah Carey will be number 1 according to the midweeks, I read on Thursday's Planet Sound (Channel 4 teletext). Just hope Clor get in the top 40 and Editors do alright.

Can we agree as a board not to do Victoria Newton or any of her Sun buddies the credit of being called a 'source' again please?

well irs.uk you have to be careful, Victoria sadly does often quote correct midweek stuff.

Midweek data gets sent everyday, and with the first one being tuesday it is likely that the poster could be reading Wednesdays paper with it in, and your teletext one could be sales figures issued on the wednesday, or even thursday if its late enough.

Also! It could be without downloads C4 was quoting, aaas elton had 15000 downloads alone come Tuesday, due to him finding a loophole of sorts in the new rules, people can text to enter a competition to meet him or some crap and they get a free download, if it wasnt for the downloads he would have been #15, and Mariah #1.

Wednesdays figures show that Elton is #1 by 3000 to James Blunt so Im pretty sure that C4 using physical-only data!

I stand corrected, though I'd be surprised if their figures weren't adjusted for downloads by now. We'll see tomorrow, none of the midweeks mean anything just yet I suppose
