Ok so i'm putting my foot in saying we would have to pay but sureley Channel 4 could launch a PPV Big Brother Channel similar to E4 but only blanking out when they say slanderous things about outside the house people and products and if they talk about companies leaving in the swearing and sexual talk and basically intresting things?It getting V.Annoying with the continous pictures of the Chickenand tweeting birds!

Yeah I know you can do it on the interent but why not on TV which is far more superior in picture and sound quality judging from what has bn said about the net connectins.

even PPV channels have to conforn to TV regulations, so swearing and dirty talk in the day would still be a no-no.

The ITC now allow for 18 certificate programming to be broadcast through the day so long as it's PIN protected. BB3 could easily do this, it wouldn't be to difficult to set up.

If they can, why don't the porn channels broadcast all day? I am not disputing your post, but just suggesting there is still something them stopping them doing it. i don't know what tho

Porn is still regulated, but notice that is now starts at 8pm instead of the 10pm and Midnights that it used to. Sky only show PPV movies during the day, not on their normal movie channels.

I assumed the porn started at eight because encrypted channels have a watershed of 8, not 9.

still no BB channel tho You would have thought it would have been cheaper to do that than the net casts. I'm sure channel 4 looked into it tho, anything to make the $$$.

IIRC - cert 18 has to be PIN code locked before 10pm and 15 rated stuff PIN protected before 8pm.
If Big Brother Live was an 18 PPV event it could have swearing, nudity and discussions of a sexual nature at any time - but they would still have to cut anything that could be defamotory to other people as they don't want themselves or the contestants being sued.
