Diary Room

Contestants are always going into the diary room, whether they're called in or choose to enter of their own accord. There is so much going on in that little room that it couldn't all be shown on the Channel Four coverage.

That being the case, what is the argument for not showing the diary room conversations during the live coverage? I noticed they slipped up a bit earlier on today and showed a little bit of the diary room albeit with the sound removed.

Also, when the housemates are removed to the girls' bedroom, why do we not get to see what work is going on in the house? I can understand why they want to keep the contestants in the dark, but why the viewers? It's not like we can tell them anything if we know.

What did happen earlier today when they said they'd heard a lot of banging about in the main house? I was half expecting to see the rooms divided but I couldn't really see anything. Was it just maintenance work?

Kind regards,
Dave

The BB Team were replacing some of the cameras today and taking away one of the chickens that was ill. The main reason why they don't show the workmen is because it's probably more interesting to keep watch on the housemates.

The housemates noted that they had changed the lenses on some of the cameras... I expect they needed ladders and such to do that, probably explaining the banging.
