I think he is very inconsiderate, arrogant and judgemental personally. He is in good company there though.

No, Science speaks in metaphor almost 24/7 and hear we are stating opinions and typing descriptive text.
This is hardly a normal conversation medium.
No one actually talks like he does 24/7 in everyday conversation without normal people thinking that it is weird.
Using metaphor is ok but not ever sentence and even then the metaphor that he uses does not make the blindest bit of sense.
He is trying to be clever and just making himself look fools.
A normal thing for small children to do. They also stamp their feet and have tantrums as well.

I must say that Science has gradually started to grow on me but unfortunately he still annoys me enough for me to try to evict him which I did this week.

We use metaphors more than most of us realise, though many of them are dead metaphors.

And so on. You get the idea. Nothing unusual about metaphors.

Science, though he's often irritating and self-centred, may be just about OK. To say he's "great" is taking things a bit far. He's not that wonderful.
He's abrasive and antagonistic. You'd have to have the tolerance of a social care worker in order to live with him.
