It seems to me that Derek holds practically all his fellow-HMs in contempt, not just the pretty women.

But did Derek not describe Orlaith as a 'work of art' when she first arrived in the house. He seemed appreciative of her beauty then
Derek is just being clever (I didn't say likeable by the way) - I believe he thinks that if he were the last person in the house with any of the pretty women he would lose, so he targets them.
I have heard nothing from Derek that strikes me as women hating - he is largely indifferent to them but that is not the same thing. I certainly don't think he is jealous of them.
He does think they are all, men and women, pretty dreadful - I tend to agree!

I think it is more confined to pretty heterosexual young women though-not of child age or mothers-as far as Derek is concerned anyway.
He had a big problem with Sam & Saskia as early as day 3 when he was already scheming to get rid of them by going round telling others that the dynamics of the house wouldnt change if they got evicted and it would be for the better. What makes it worse is he hadnt even attempted to get to know them before slagging them both off. it is pretty women as you say in the main that he has a problem with, as he seems to love Lesley and last night was laughing about the time she called Sam a slag.

He said a lot worse than that; but he also said at one point that it would be interesting to see what happened if the women the boys were interested in were evicted. (He meant Sam and Saskia.)

I think Derek is clever enough to cover his tracks by being less harsh on SOME women in the house-lesley /makosi/ who maybe he feels less threatenend by but its 3-0 when considering the "glamourous"female with no "freaky" add on

Any observant person would notice that on average gay men get on extremely well with women, are often their best friends, and generally get on better than straight men as there is no sexual preference going on between them and much commonality. I think that the fact alot of the women on BB this year have tried to use a 'sex, nakedness, or looks' card, and in the process diminishing their personality, intelligence etc, is a big factor in this!
It's obvious he's found the majority of the female HM's shallow. As Derek himself has said, he likes 'strong' women, something that has been lacking in most this year! He probably has no respect for women who act like that, and the public it seems have taken the same view!

It is based on being observent as to Derek's way with young pretty girls on the show and not as clearly stated all women.Not one,Not two but Three specific and proven examples.This is not about" average "gay men whatever that means -it is about a particular gay man-Derek-even though there may also be other gay men like him around.Derek is just as prejudiced as many other people but cannot seem to admit it himself.
All the women you mention are all fairly late middle-age types-not sexually threatening for Derek.
