Why not? You do an early upgrade (for a fee) and it ties you in from 12 months from that date.

The only network that I'm aware of that will let you upgrade before your 12 months contract is up is Orange I think. And even then it's expensive to do so.
Besides which, it's not been released yet anyway!! |
