Who else likes them? Their new single "Wake me up when Spetember ends" is great and the music video is really emotional as half of it is like a mini film of talking. I suggest you download it/listen to it soon to find what a great song it is Also, if you wanna talk about Greenday here - feel free

They are 1 of those bands that have kinda passed me by, I know their stuff but i didnt really form much of an opinion, however I do love the "September Ends" track! Did they do Time of Your Life as well because thats another song I really like!

I'm someone who really hasn't had much time for them in the past except for the odd song like Time of Your Life which I learnt to play on the guitar years ago but their latest album "American Idiot" is truly brilliant. Its full of stomping riffs, very catchy, a real pick-me up, high energy, blast. I'd thoroughly recommend it and I'm looking forward to the live DVD they have planned for later this year despite them stopping the BBC from filming them during T in the Park recently.

Ok, on your recommendation I shall pick that up to listen to at work on Monday! I love working in HMV, I have my own office & can listen to whatever I want from the shop all day!!!

I used to kinda like some of their tracks a while ago, when not many people knew about them.

They sold out with the new album though in my opinion and the tracks were pretty poor.I don't really like any of their stuff now and I find the singer rather irritating. The second single from their last album I think was the best from it, but then I didn't like the rest at all.

That's just my opinion though and I hope it doesn't cause offence.

I am mostly into techno, dance and rave, but green day are my favourite rock type of group. I think American Idiot is their best song ever.

My brother had been a big fan of them a couple of years before they released "American Idiot" and although at first I thought it was a brilliant album and many people like it, I definately prefer their older stuff. Dookie and their greatest hits "International Superhits" are much better in my opinion.

I wouldn't say they've sold out, although I was slightly worried when my mum announced she liked their new songs!

My favourite songs would be: Maria, Welcome to Paradise and When I Come Around.

You should really check out International Superhits, I think I've over played American Idiot.

Everyone seems to like their new album. I still think Nimrod was their best work. It's the only one I own, I've been swithering about American Idiot but something in me resists making the purchase.
