Much as I really dislike Derek for his general attitude and his political views and especially some of his comments to Science I will agree totally (as a hetereosexual male) that in terms of his sexuality he strikes me as open, honest, mature and yes, if you like, a good role model (though I'm not sure he's promoting himself as one). Credit where credit's due.

Also judging Derek on his OWN behaviour in the House he has a huge gay male bias in his House interactions and a very negative bias against anybody who isn't gay or male.

I for one think Science is a pretty good role model for all sorts of people. He's got integrity. Eugene, too.

Science's one problem seems to be how easy he is to play. Makosi is sitting there right now like a huge malevolent spider lady, wrapping him in silk and tugging him closer.
