I have not been able to get into live streaming on the net since friday morning,its asking for my password which oes not normally happen and will not allow me in when i input my password and says:

"Your email address has not been confirmed. Check your email inbox for more information or see Video FAQ link at foot of page."

Althpugh i know it is correct,i emailed them but they have not answered.

Any one else having the same problem?

Not at the moment. The live stream has been extremely unreliable for about a week, but I have been able to connect for most of the time.

I tried again just now and it loaded up OK — though it showed nothing but sleeping people in the short time I watched it.

I have not been able to get on live streaming on the internet since last friday and my pc is fine.

I have emailed them 3 times without a reply.

Does any one have an alternative email adrress or tel number?

Cant believe how ignorent these people are not even replying.

Well, Finbar, I've just tried again and had no difficulty. You should, of course, have had a reply from Ch4 regarding your problem, but maybe there is something wrong with your computer.

How are you going about logging on to the live stream?

Which email address did you use to ask for support?

this is the email i am using bigbrother@channel4.com.

i just log on as usual but on friday it asked me for my password for the first time and would not let me in,i checked the password which was correct.

My computer is working fine with everything else.

Finbar, you might want to try the live text-based chat support, though it runs only at certain times. Here's a link to a page about it.

It says on the page, "Our billing and technical support staff is available via live text-based chat through 4pm from 2am BST." I'm not clear whether that means it starts at 4pm and goes on till 2am or that it starts at 2am and goes on till 4pm. It doesn't seem to be running at the moment, though, so I guess it starts at 4.

It may be a complete waste of time, but it might be worth trying. You might also want to look at some of the other links on that page, such as Technical Troubleshooting.

I hope you can get the problem sorted out.

Edit: Looking again at the CH4 page that I linked to, I see that the only button on it is to email support. I don't know whether another button appears when the live-chat support is available.

Yeah it's the same one but I had that link from when I used it before. It was pretty good when I used it so it's worth saving for future reference even if it's not working right now. I suspect they have disabled it for a while due to the weight of enquiries.

The live-chat support does seem to be operating again at the moment, so they haven't completely disabled it.
