Anthony's odds dropped overnight mainly because the second fav Science has once again put himself in the firing line. This now makes Anthony the hottest favourite ever at this stage of Big Brother.

Why wouldnt people want to see him win for he is the only white male heterosexual left in the house?. He has never done anything wrong. He is kind and caring, with Craig at least. He had a great show last night and he is a geordie with a great sense of humour and entertainment.

Anthony has the support of the betting community and the BGP at large and will probably be odds on to win the show after tonight.

No he's not worthy - he's too ignorant and thick. I'm sorry but anyone who doesn't know what the House of Commons is, does not deserve to win BB.

Favourites don't always win. I should know, I've backed enough of them.

He isnt worthy at all. He's likable but not winner potential. Science, Makosi, or Derek should win IMO.

If you remember Scott from BB4, or Kenzie from Celeb BB, and even Les Dennis - They were all favourites to win their series but they didnt. I think Anthony will be this series's version- a likeable enough bloke, but nothing that will make anyone but teenage girls pick up the phone for him. Not enough charisma.

Anthony is a really nice down to earth geordie guy and i would rather he won than a few people in the house... He isn't my favourite but if he won i wouldn't be dissapointed

I would - the great characters in the house will have gone to waste.

Way better and far more deserving characters by the wayside-again

None of them are worthy of winning a popularity contest. They all have 'character', we all have character of some sort. IMO, none of them have winning character though.

Anthony is merely the best of a very bad bunch, I think this years BB winner will be the most unpopular yet, tbh.
BB's own fault for messing so much, Max should have won. He had winner written all over him, that's why the rest of them hated him so much.

I'm sorry but I can't agree with you. Anthony is thick and unremarkable. He pales by comparison with any previous winner and that's very pale in the lineup of celebrity entertainers.

His dinner with BB was stultifyingly boring - without exception any other HM still in there would have produced a wittier and funnier and more entertaining little piece on their own. Anthony's attempts at novelty included getting pissed, taking his shirt off because he thinks we think he is beautiful and repeating endless one word cliches like 'classic'. What you saw were the dazzling highlights of a 90 minute sole appearance on camera - golden moments of BB6? Er no. Classic? Never.

He has never played a leading role in the house except when it came to sleazy and potentially unsafe sex in the pool. His role was to back up Max and Saskia in every unfair act they got up to and to lie lazily around with Craig telling him to f*** off yet so desperate to shore up his vote in the house that he panders to Craig's misguided and hilarious attempts to form a love bond. Craig is pathetic and embarrassing but he totally dominates in that relationship, as does Makosi with Ant and indeed everyone else. They run rings round him.

People really only like him because 'he speaks with a Geordie accent' or 'he doesn't bitch or argue' - which he does, he is just not as good at it as the others as he struggles to form any sentence. Not good enough, I'm afraid.

I think he's a good housemate and definately the best of a bad bunch but I think him, like others hasn't done anything special to make him worthy of winning, just that he is less objectionable than the others

Anthony hasn't done anything to deserve to win this. He hasn't contributed much to the life of the house, unless you count schoolboy humour during the weeks when Max was in the house. (Personally I didn't find any of that humourous). He can't even string two words together without saying 'Aye, well, like' numerous time. He has spent most of his days in the house, sitting on the sofa, having massages of various types, sunbathing, eating, sleeping, getting drunk, posing in the mirror and being over conscious of what will make good viewing, in his mind. Vanessa was accused of flying under the radar, I think Anthony is doing much the same.

I still think that BB should give the option in the last week of voting "None of the above" to win - since at times none of them deserve the prize money

Best idea I've heard. It would be a BB first and they could donate the 100 grand to charity. BB6 is officially a flop IMO

Anthony is not sharp but he has a point:

Tolerance

any other HM heard of it!
and a good home for the cash.

the lad's brain dead--prehaps it would be better if he had brought the condom on the real date wiv makosi in the pool --rather than the imaginary one for bb --everything is for the cameras --if anthony thought granny-slapping was funny he'd do it --so long as max done it first like --not an original thought in his wooden top head -

What I keep asking myself, "is Anthony the moral winner".

Would I want Anthony as a role model for my children?

Anthony won't win.

Science will survive this weeks eviction (again) and go on to win it.

Definitely not.

If he wins BB6 then it will all have been a complete and utter waste of time.

We should all be allowed to press "erase" if he does.

But then again,,all you who say no.....

Why should Anthony not win?

I think Nadia and Brian would have been STRONGER favourites at this stage (4 weeks to go).But yes Anthony has suddenly been made a strong favourite.(he is evens)At 5-1 he must have been a very good bet.Still a long while to go though-Anthony hasn't much about him and he might show himself up.
