As for somebody above mentioning he steals - Science stole a cigar ... it was not done in a nasty, sneaky, underhand type of way and he talked to other HMs about it - knowing it had been the wrong thing to do ....

He helped himself to far more than his fair share yesterday though, when all other HM's were trying to ration theirs. That's why they're hiding it IMO. If it were left to Science, there'd be nothing left for the others. He doesn't feel the need to hide things: he thinks he's got the god given right to take anything he pleases, no matter who it rightfully belongs to

Last night for example there were 2 bottles of champers left ... who were drinking them? Team Smug and new members in the LR .....

So why was Science walking around with his own bottle for most of the night? All other HM's share 1 bottle, and Science bags his own? A truly selfless act indeed - not.


Please stop these ridiculous defences now - it's getting very tedious. Accept it, he's been outed - move on.

Science NEVER stole Craig's cigarettes, he told him he could have one then told everyone else he had taken them.

Craig and Anthony eat FAR more in that house than anyone else, they regularly have massive fry ups un the early hours, I have sat and watched them say they dont care how much food is left in the house, they will eat what they want.

Hmmm.... I wanted to like Science..... in the early days...

Like Derek... I thought he had potential..... but I understand Dereks feeling of failure and frustration with regard to Science... why Derek gave up on him.... and now just tries to ignore and walk away from him......

Unfortunately I'm not sure that Science should be in the house..... I think he has real 'problems' that should not be put on display and exposed on national TV for the prurient and gullible viewers..... It is unfair to him.... and unfair to the housemates..... I feel sorry for him and the others in this respect....

Science should not be turned into and ICON or a LEGEND.... he is NEITHER..... he is a young man with some distorted perceptions..... and unfortunate communication skills.... He seems to think that only his OPINIONS are FACTS (he has said this many many times).... and therefore MUST BE HONEST!!!!! .... Whereas other peoples OPINIONS are RUBBISH and therefore MUST BE DISHONEST LIES and must be shouted over.....

Sorry peeps.... just because someone is loud and has an opinion... doesn't make him honest.... Science has gone around talking to many individuals one on one and in small groups stirring up others.... with distortions of what he perceived to be facts..... in exactly the same way as ALL the others have from time to time.....

He has now become Makosi's tool..... she is providing him with the Bullets for him to fire at the others..... she's loving it!

The other guys are not ganging up on Science..... they've been trying to avoid him..... but he keeps following them and has provided them with a common cause.... WE'RE PISSED OFF WITH SCIENCE.... relatively easy to understand.....

Most of the housemates have been way worse than Science, in one way or another. Derek, Makosi, Kemal, Craig, Orlaith, to name the current housemates, have been so bitchy to everyone, but certain FM's dont see that as 'bad', Anthony and Eugene have been the male Vanessa, but again, some FM's dont see that as bad. Most of the Fm's on here are hypocrates, when it comes to pointing out Science's bad points.

Science went into the livingroom last nite to find out what they were saying so he could run back to mackosi and lick her backside !!! I think science fancys mackosi

Remind me, are you talking about Maxwell and co stealing the beer and alcohol? Maxwell messing with the shopping list everyone had agreed on, just to get his beer? Is it Makosi and co grabbing the food, and hiding it in their drawers, so Science had to ask for a bag of pasta, so he could make everyone some food?

I don't understand how people can like Science - I find him so rude, annoying, and self-important (he's not my most disliked HM though). He is the only HM I will lose on at the moment on my Betfair book:

If you can’t see that there’s loads of humour in Science’s delivery and manner then I feel sorry for you as you are missing out on some fine comedy. The most he’s guilty of is not being able to see that cranking the volume up to 11 all the time can be irritating, but he likes to be challenged and is happy to debate with anyone that will take him on. HMs/FMs who can’t see past the bluster and volume are not getting the whole picture.

Not 'everyone' does like Science, but some of us get tired of the tirade of seemingly endless abuses and name calling that ensues when ever they dare to express their dislike of him.

Science supporters seem to think that 'bitching' is the most heinous act known to humanity, but yet they quite happily turn a blind eye to Science's physical aggression during the attack on Kemal in the kitchen (which was so severe that BB reprimanded Science for his behaviour).

He threw a glass of water on someone, an act for which he sincerely and wholeheartedly apologised. He was wrong to do it, no-one is saying he wasn’t but compare this to Max’s treatment for the identical act on the same person (with real aggression), no formal warning, no apology and has been banging on about it incessantly since he left, still seeing nothing wrong with his actions.

Many people (not all) who only watch the highlights will see Science as continuously causing agruements and shouting. True he is loud and like most people state I would have problems living with him. However, this is not a contest about who can fit in the best with other HM's but a popularity contest with the GBP (Nadia was loud & annoying last year).

All the HM's in there act as if they are in a play ground with there little gangs, slagging each other off and the "he said, he said" crap all behind people's backs. Science is the only HM that is prepared to say things to people's faces and not get involved in there little feuds. A lot of people have said that Science does this about Derek, true Science does talk about Derek but also says it to his face.

Science also takes time out for other HM's and refuses to not cook for them etc... and tries to cheer them up when they are feeling down. In the garden when Orlaith screamed at Science it was all started by Science trying to cheer everyone up by singing "if your happy and you know it".

At the end of the day, I would like the £100k go to someone who deserves it that is why I'll be voting for Science. He has stuck to his guns despite the odds and still refuses to join in with the bullying and ganging up which has been the hallmark of this years BB. Apart from Eugene or even Antony none of the other HM's in my opninon have deserve to win this year.

I don't really know why he's so popular on here and with the GBP I know he has some good points, he's honest and he seems to be quite perceptive at times but I think his bad points outweigh his good! He's extremely arrogant, he thinks he is superior to anyone else, he is egotistical, hypocritical and loud. He lacks tact-he doesn't know when to shut up!! he can't keep on being like that, or he'll have real problems in the working world! He's also greedy and self-righteous. I think the reason why he is so adored, is because he's the best of a bad bunch :P

i think the main arguement that is put up for liking science is that he is the best of a bad bunch.....not so, he is simply AS bad as the rest. nothing more and nothing less. except that he won't admit to it, as he said yesterday , it's his right to eat all the food and take anything that is in the house and he will go into other h/ms drawers if he wants to. it's the demanding. the shouting, the selfishness that is getting on the h/ms nerves...and i don't blame them one bit. the talking about science behind his back is certainly not something that you can blame tham for...what's the alternative??? face up to him and wait for the torrent of abuse (littered with a few accurate observations) for over an hour. with a few " respect my authority and i'll respect yours" whilst blatantly not respecting anything . and this chap could win???? go figure !

I think you're right about him being the best of a bad bunch, and that probably is his main attraction - the others set him off to his best effect.

But he does have good qualities too, as you say, he's kind, perceptive, honest and often quite funny. He is also quite natural (rather than measured or calculating in his behaviour) and he seems to have the BB experience in some kind of proportion - Kamal, for example, seems bizarrely involved in the situation.

I also think that many people can see that he has been mistreated in several ways. Since refusing to be Derek's Eliza Dolittle, he (Derek) has been vicious towards him, and has encouraged others to be likewise. He's not blokish enough for the lad's group, he's not socially skilled enough for the girl's group, so he's very much on his own, and I think the others are a bit threatened by him.

He's absolutely vile in many respects, but I don't think any of his transgressions have been as bad as those of all of the others in the house. He has been annoying, but not nasty. He's loud, but not cruel. He's childish, but not unkind. We haven't seen him cross boundaries like Maxwell (scabs in food - beyond normal behaviour) or conduct character assasinations like virtually everyone else. The famous Stealing Incident was probably the least of similar incidents that we've seen, and Derek overreacted outrageously.

I have a sneaking like for Science myself. Sometimes I find him funny, he's often endearing, and even when he's foul you can see there's nothing really bad behind it. Look at the incident with Orlaith yesterday - that silly wagon going into the BB house and demanding that only her chosen few can talk to her. She deserved to be teased like that. Showed her for the vain, uptight, humourless cow that she is.

Science is the only one in there who can stand alone.

He faces up to the school yard bullies that are: the gang leader 'Demonic Derek', and his unhappy campers - Craigie (named by Derek last night), Anthoneeee (Craigie claims to be Anthoneee's BEE-tch), Kemalady (Derek's new bitch since he/she discovered how unpopular Makosi was with the public on Friday night), not to foget Easy-O'zy Eugene and Oillie Orlaith.

Science was protecting Makosi from the rabble last night and he did GOOD.
