Science was protecting Makosi from the rabble last night and he did GOOD.

He is actually a very good housemate, some of them can't see past his shouting, he only does this if people try to lay the law down to him, if you watch him he is actually also a very good listener which may sound funny but he is, he has a lot of time for the feelings of other housemates and would listen to any of them if they came to him with a problem and he wouldn't use the conversation to bitch about them behind their backs, he has quite consistent values.

I would be surprised if people didn't see Ant for what he is or rather for what he is not last night.

Science proved without a shadow of a doubt that he is the only one worthy of the prize.

Plus, he is the cutest guy in there.

“ As I recall the incident, Science stole Derek's cigar and then made a big show of smoking it where he could be seen by the non-partying HMs, including Derek. My impression was that Science hoped Derek would see this performance and be upset. However, Derek seemed to assume that Science had been given the cigar by BB as one of the party treats.

The way in which Science tried to wind up Derek didn't seem to me to be particularly charming.

It's interesting that many FMs make such a big point about how honest Science is. However, he himself says that he's been in trouble with the police and has served a community service order. Source: his own video called Graffiti on this page. I don't know what Science did to get himself into trouble, but it would seem his record outside the House isn't unblemished.”

Have just looked at this link, and i am really impressed. How many other kids who get Community Service nowadays realise that it is a punishment for whatever they have done wrong. How many will turn it around and then become a person who is so honest he puts all the other housemantes, (apart from Eugene) to shame. Yes he stole a cigar and all the other HM's know about it because he let them all see him do it. Of all the other things that have gone missing who has held up their hands and later apologised. Seeing that video has made me see just what a good person Science NOW is. He could so easily have taken the other track as many do.

Which was it again?”

The OP was concerning Science, so naturally, I was referring to his behaviour.

Maxwell's behaviour was reprehensible, and I would never condone it. However, as he's history, and I have never supported him, I fail to see why you have to raise it here?

I think that they've all (with the possible exception of one or two) have the morals of ravenous sharks, and I will condemn all of them, as and when the situation arises. However, again, we were talking about Science. I realise that this is uncomfortable for Science fans, but if it's that uneasy start your own thread

Please remind me, I must have missed it: When exactly has Science ever cooked for EVERYONE?

Oh my god, on MANY occasions, when Roberto left he said he was handing over to 'Masterchef number 2'.

The wek of the Saskia/Makosi row, when the divide was clear, Kemal told Science to exclude Maxwell from the mealtimes - Science refused, saying if he was going to cook, he would do it for everyone.

He has made desserts for people as well, apple crumbles etc.

Its only recently when the food situation has got out of hand that everyone has decided to look after number 1.

The reason is because Science is seen as a young black boy who aspires to be a rapper and is trying to be supressed by the others.

Thre truth is that Science is a typically young aggressive, arrogant, obnoxious prick, who is a legend in his own mind like just about every rapper I've ever come across. Some people will not put him into that box, because unlike Maxwell (who they put into the box of racist football hooligan), he is black.

Well piffle, he puts himself into that box when he talks about Leeds being comparable to the street of LA, wears a shirt that says "I am an Icon", and behaves in a predictably aggressive way. Role model my ass.

I think that is a good word to describe Science- consistent.

He has his set of values and he sticks to them.

He is not perfect, but who is? I know I'm not. Many times I have shouted at my children and then thought I could have handled that better.

Science is not nasty, not manipulative, not bitchy, not fickle and not gullible, which I don't think could be said about one other person in there.

“not manipulative”

He had no problem with Derek's manipulation when it was directed towards Maxwell and Saskia. He only revealed the truth to Craig and Anthony after Maxwell went, to get them onside. He's as manipulative as anyone else.

No, just insulting and intolerant of those who disagree with him. You have to bitch about him, because if you try and point out any of his flaws to him, he screams like a child.

He was manipulated into voting Saskia one week, and then still after this he stuck with Derek. And then he deluded himself into believing Derek was the one who gave him the extra vote to get him up for eviction, when it was actually Vanessa. And still he thinks Makosi is a friend as well. He's as gullible as it gets.

My reasons for supporting Science are simple, as I see it his bad faults (of which he has quite a few, I have no problem admitting) are far outweighed by his good, and there isn't another hm I can say that off.

Science is the HM I would like to have seen go many weeks ago, probably after Lesley.

He is not unintelligent, but that huge chip on his shoulder and the rudeness by shouting everyone else down is unforgiveable, although he tells others they are not listening to him. How could anyone avoid hearing that loudmouth yell at every possible opportunity, as if shouuting ever makes a point valid. Deary me!

He is greedy too and an obsessive about cleaning and preparing chicken.
