I have lost all respect for Eugene. His suggestion that the house only buy food and beverages that Science cannot eat is disgraceful.

His recent bitching against Science has been the most vitriolic and malevolent. He is very nasty indeed.

The others have been totally OTT against Science lately – called him a thief, liar and so on, but there is a feeling that they are on massive propaganda drive to persuade the Public to turn against Science because they think Science is the most popular with the Public and they want win. They are ‘playing’ the game, albeit in a dishonourable and low way.

Eugene on the other hand has been, and is, nasty towards Science in a way that goes way beyond what is acceptable in this harsh game. The very idea that starving Science is a good strategy to get revenge on Science simply because he shouts a bit and is fastidious about what he eats (and the preparation of food) is indicative of a truly horrible person.

The others (to their credit) dismissed Eugene’s suggestion as a step too far. Eugene is an evil nasty character at heart.

Agreed ..I had no idea that eugene had that nasty streak ... and you know what makes it worse for me, is that Science is the one person that actually talks and listens to Eugene ... talking about various subjects - he is the only one that does give Eugene the time to talk about things that really interest him too ........

Eugene has been brainwashed by Derek. BB should send in the physiologist quickly so he isn't permanently damaged.

I am really disappointed in Eugene if Science could not have won then I'd have wanted him to win.

The shopping list thing was just plain evil Science would not have done that to him

Eugene has come to the (late) realisation that no-one listens to him when he trots out his anecdotes, "impressions", trivia etc. The only time they pay attention is when he bitches so this is what he’s started doing. I guess watching people’s eyes glaze over as soon as he opened his dreary, mealy mouth wore on him and he’s been assimilated by the group mentality and has had to bitch in order to "survive". No accident that it’s bitching against Science as that is their chosen target du jour whereas Science and Eugene originally got on quite well, something Eugene has seen fit to expunge from his memory.

A weak, spineless, dull and possibly vindictive little man.

I started to go off Eugene (whom I'd always thought should come a respectable 2nd to Science's winner) on Saturday when I realised that he'd been listening to Derek far too much and was starting to talk about Science just like Derek. I thought he was better than that. I went off him completely once he made the suggestion about the shopping.

Awww diddums...does Eugene not like the nasty Science.

This is really gone to work against the wolf pack, Science will just end up sealing his own fan base, plus end up with a load of sympathy voters (probably).

I agree, Mother Teresa would have probably have had a few bitchy comments to say about Science if she had to live with him for a few weeks.

I just hope and pray that they don't 'edit' tonight's HL show too much. Then, let's see how many people agree that Kieran is still this cuddly misunderstood character, and not the vile, loudmouthed, ignorant, selfish bully that I witnessed on the live feed for most of yesterday.

At dinner time, the other HM's decided that they would go on 'short rations' to preserve the meagre rations - not Science, oh no. He decided that he'd make his own arrangements, and promptly raided the fridge and made himself a meal that would have fed 4 other HM's.

To cap it all, he then demanded that he also had a share of what the others had divvied up

Now, don't get me wrong. I haven't got a fav HM. I don't particularly like any of them. But, I have to say that I now despise this selfish creature, for one main reason:

He's actually made me feel sympathy for the other HM's!!

I disagree. Yes Science and Eugene got on fine for the first week or so..but Science was especially calm for a couple of weeks and hardly ranted once.

Eugene only "turned" on Science after his drunken actions when he survived eviction and stole Dereks cigar and got cocky.

On that night Eugene politely said he didn't think Science should do it and then Science shouted at him "i don't give a damn what you think".

The only time I have seen Eugene say anything bad about him is after he has made an aggressive rant. Until Science started his ranting again they got on fine.

Me too. I didn't see it and can hardly believe it....really...Eugene bitching to that degree.

People like him (and yes I know saying things like that are daft, who cares) just SHOULD NOT be on TV.

Well the only thing Engine had going for him was that he appeared to be "nice" (i however was skeptikal - never assume someone is harmless just because they're socially inept).

I now actually think he's worse than alot of them - he's the kind that see's people who are good to him (Science) as weak, and longs to be accepted by the "in" group, who he identifies as being strong.

Remember, people like Eugene don't exist on the fringes out of choice, this is the difference between him and Science for example. Science chooses to distance himself from any group or alliances. Eugene is desperate, as he has probably been all his life after constantly being shunned and rejected.

There's probably quite a store of hate under his controlled, ostensibly well tempered persona (although we've seen his mask slip - crying a few times now, and both for very narcissistic reasons). Expect so see him direct this hate at whoever he identifies as being the easy target. This is the behaviour he has learnt from his peers.

Oh yes, NEVER trust overtly, insufferably NICE people.

As Eugene is slowly demonstrating, underneath the nicey niceness is a desire to pick on anyone they think is even weaker than themselves.

Eugene has more friends than anybody I know, and they are all "real" friends, not the sort that just latch on to somebody because they are popular.

Eugene is real.

I think I'd rather live in an artificial world if Eugene is the "real" alternative.

When the programme came on last night onto channel 4, at 00:40, they were all screaming at each other and Eugene appeared to be doing the washing up in the background!

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't, you obviously know him personally i assume. I'm not going to argue with you on this point as you'll likely just try to throw "facts" in my face, but i hold to my opinion that Eugene is socially inept and naive and displays characteristics of wanting to fit in and be accepted.

It makes me laugh. The rest of them are bitching away constantly and as soon as Eugene makes one little comment about someone he gets jumped on for being 'nasty'. My only worry for Eugene is that he takes everything Derek says as gospel and I think that he is being set up for a fall.

Eugine is just plain boring, This must be part of a gameplan for him. Science steals food yes, and I am not condoning this but...... I still think Science is the best HM in there. I feel the same way about Eugene as I did about Vanessa, "what the hell are they doing in the house?"
