No, we're not Derek's fans.

Nobody said anything about *ss-licking but you'd expect him to have the decency to form his OWN opinion and not bitch about someone who was the 1st and only person that sat down and listened to him when he came in to the house, and still does.
It was only when Derek desided that he needed to "brainwash" someone (as Science wouldn't have it) that he "took Eugene under his wing" and the results of that we've seen on his chat with Kemal last night.

Yes that was unbelievable He knows exactly how to play Craig doesn't he.Derek couldn't STAND Maxwell and Saskia and now he's even saying how intelligent Maxwell was. He also knew what buttons to press when he told Craig he now likes Anthony BECAUSE OF THE THINGS CRIAG TOLD HIM ABOUT HIM.This made Craig feel good becuas ehe feel seh wa sabel o change Drek's mind abotu Anthony and it this also gave Craig another chance to go on and on about how wonderful Anthony is Derek knows exactly how Craig ticks. well, he took and ate 4 potatoes leaving the rest to have just 9 between them. just over one each. when asked not to...science shouted (shock horror!!) that in my book is stealing for a start.

I think it was an attempt to get them all to say how great he was and what valid points he had made etc etc .He did also keep saying things like "I think I made some valid points ..don't you?"

Derek is working them all like cheap fiddles.
Even if he told them that Science is really a woman, they're SO dumb they'd believe him.
Derek's job has been made easier by how stupid some of these people are!

Saskia did that too after shouting at Makosi the other night.

They knew very well they were out of order and did not look well on TV.

Science - never learns but is a good lad at heart.
Craig - a stirrer but won the argument
Derek - sits back and lets others do the dirty work
Makosi - will tample on anyone to get her way
Kemal - feel sorry for him; he's been shat upon by those he though his friends
Ant - prefers to let others do the confrontation
Orlaith - Makosi's new pawn
Eugene - manages to rise above everything; will make the final

That's my point! Now they say he makes biscuits with ingredients belonging to ALL of them and trade them of for things we wants and therefore is a thief

Last night, Ant accussed him of hiding food and when he (Sci) asked him to name something he'd hidden, all Ant could come up with was an apple which Sci said belonged to him anyway and that Ant's was in the fridge. This killed that line of accusation.

I also missed the main part of last night's argument and tuned in when Makosi and Science were talking about whatever it was in the bedtoom. Then Orlaith came in. I also saw the men bitching in the living room. I ended up turnig it off when Derek starting on about Makosi in week 1!!
To cut a long story short I've completely gone off Derek and as for Craig! Yuck! All the men except Science are bitches and I see nothing wrong with Makosi! No doubt I will be considered 'off my head' at this??

We are talking about Science here, so that is the case that I highlighted. You saying that it has been done before with other HMs in no way diminshes the veracity of my original comment.

This is the same tired old trick that zealots love to use when they have run out of arguments. If one points out a fact to them that they can not counter or deny, then they switch to another issue (or person) and start picking on that in order to defelect attention away from the original point.

I have never defended anyone "to the death" (nor will I ever feel the need to when it comes to a TV show) I simply make my case by stating my opinion on a subject.

I am capable of making up my own mind as to who I like and dislike because I refuse to be swayed by disinformation or get caught up in hysterical fan worship of any HM (regardless of who they are).

Science is naked (the Emperor does not have new invisible clothes) and no amount of proselytising will make me think otherwise.

I've said elsewhere I couldn't live with Science without going bonkers, but to me it's not about who I could live with (given that me/Craig/sharp knife scenario would not be pretty) but just who I want to win for whatever reason.
Yes, Science is noisy but so are Kemal and Maksoi (those squeals for heavens sake)
Yes, Science has taken things - but so have they all - none of them stand up to scrutiney very well in that regard and possibly Science has taken less than anyone - at least he hasn't altered the shopping list and it was Science who didn't want to hide food when Kemal was squirreling it away in various bed draws - wonder why that went off, eh?
He dosen't seem to take any interest in his popularity outside the house - the cheers for him passed him by (but not the others and possibly, hence, his problems).
You're never going to have the situation they are in and not have bitching but some of it this year has gone through bitching and come out on the side of character assassination which is awful to listen too - especially bearing in mind the people doing it. Orlaith did have a go at trying to show this to Kemal but it backfied in a big way and she ended up in a worse position than before.
So, while at no time wishing to share a house with Science I would like him to at least stay (and in the absence of Roberto even to win) to keep on winding 'em up nicely!

Science will be portrayed as the 'bad' guy once again, and the highlights, the websites and updates will show (Science taking more food...etc etc)when that WASN'T the point, it's about the 5 on 1 bullying sessions. Thank god for internet forums and freeview, the GBP knows who's REALLY right and my opinions of all of them has changed. I had respect for Craig etc but now..lost all of it. Anthony can be a sound lad, but he's not going overboard because he's scared of what the public might think of him...Science, on the other hand isn't afraid, and he will continue to be himself...even if it means him going out. This is why we should all vote for Science to stay in and win it. Don't get me wrong, he isn't the angel of the world, but compared to the rest of the ***** in there...he deserves to win!! I know the media, public are going to seeh im as some vile thug from the ghetto, but we've all seen what happend last night on the live stream, and all people on this forum know what happend, and lets hope justice is done.

But if you make a statement inferring blind support, then do not expect those who can see the faults, and choose to judge behaviour in its context, not to refute your statement, which, at best, was ambiguous.

I accept that there may have been faults on all sides (and I confess I didn't see the beginning of the unpleasantness), but I can't agree that they are all as bad as each other. Some faults are infinitely more heinous than shouting.

I was dissapointed in Anthony, Craig and Science.

As much as I love Science, he let his (justified) dislike of Derek leave him in a vulnerable position and Makosi worked on that. Makosi wound him up about revealing what Derek was up to and off he went.

At the same time Derek (who may or may not have seen what was coming from Science), was busy winding Craig and Anthony up against Science.

The three of them fell for it and the real culprits were left out of much of the shouting.

Anthony, Craig and Science had been enjoying themselves this week, Derek couldn't stand that, he had to stick the knife in. In the meantime, Makosi, after being booed by the public on Friday, has been busy deflecting attention from her own bitching and onto Derek's.

I'm not interested in who stole/didn't steal, who lied/didn't lie, who shouted/didn't shout.

The real culprits are those that lit the blue touch paper and stood well back.
