Or perhaps you are referring to Science's demand that Eugene clap whenever Science tells him to.

Science got pally with Eugene simply because no one else would. It was mutually beneficial relationship initially (as they were both people that the HMs found it difficult to be around) so they were both often 'loners' outside of the group.

Over time Eugene has simply become sick of Science (in the same way that all the other HMs have).

mindyann, I think you've put your finger on why Science is so un popular in the house and so popular outside. He is an absolute nightmare to live with - noisy, mouthy, and rather coky - but we don't experience that. What we see is someone who is fairly straight, loyal, uncomplicated and extremely amusing, in sharp contrast to everyone else in that house!

My favourite (Kemal) won't win, so I hope Science does. Better him than Anfony!

The example you gave was when Science was drunk and on a high from actually surviving eviction.One off the cuff remark to Eugene in those circumstances is nothing compared to all the times he has sat chatting with Eugene before and after that night.

As for his "demand" that Eugne clap when he tells him to.You are blowing that way out of proportion.He was trying to cheer them up by singing "If you're happy and you know it clap your hands" It's the SONG that tells you to clap your hands and Science was just trying to get him to join in with the song

I really don't think that any of them covered themselves in glory last night, but how frustrating must it be for a lot of them in there. Each of them tried to argue sensibly with Science until he annoyed them so much by screaming over the top of them that by the time they finished arguing they had so much pent up frustration, they had to let it out somehow.
I know if I had had an argument with Science last night, I would sit with my friends and try and work out what went wrong and why things got completely out of hand.
I think Anthony and Craig are still wise to Derek and still don't trust him. I wouldn't be at all surprised if one or both of them vote for him during nominations today. Just because they were all agreed about Science, doesn't mean all other issues are forgotten.

I don't know what this has got to do with anything - probably nothing(!) but it niggled me, so here goes:
Makosi told Anthony that Derek had been saying that Anthony is gay and the conversation went on for quite some time.
Craig agreed that Derek has said that to him to.
Science then said that he'd heard Derek say it too.
Anthony confronts the devious Derek who flannelled all around - and says that Science had told him.
(No Anthony, it was Makosi - although I understand that Science was the last to talk which is probably what you remember!)
Makosi sits and looks smug - job done and no backlash, thank you Anthony.
Derek trits inside before anyone else can recall all the conversations he has instigated on the subject and has a little chat with Kemal on the subject of how Science has been talking about you to Anthony and dragging up old conversations in a puzzled/hurt manner which rapidly descended into a good old rant.

What about Kamal the devious little b*****d is flying under the radar and has become morose and totally obsessive. Get HIM out. But if we lose Science and Makosi we will be bored to death. It really worrys me that the ones who argue get kicked out and the bland boring ones win - what is this all about? I disliked Craig but he was entertaining, but his slavish outburst last night "I don't care about me, it him (Anthony) I want to go as far as possible" What's that about? He was jealous of Science it was like he was trying to take him away from him. Science was right although he finds it hard to express himself without shouting. Craig was Scarey.

Yes I wondered why he had said it was Science when Makosi was the one to tell him first.All Science did was to confirm that Derek had said the same to him too when Anthony was asking who else he had told.

I agree, Kemal's obsession with Makosi is destroying him, it's like he can't think about anything else. Craig as well, instructing Anthony to walk out of the room every time Science walks in and ranting on about Science trying to split them up because he is homophobic...I wish someone would tell Craig that he isn't in a gay relationship with Ant. After last night I have gone off Craig and Kemal big time and am concerned about their mental health.

Just a general footnote to this thread, Craig did look mightily annoyed when discussing Science with Ant in the pool at about 3am sunday morning. Basically, Ant likes Science, Craig doesn't. I think this might be something to do with the fact that Ant has become tactile with Science recently.

I think Science and Anthony always did quite get on - it was just that with Max there it made things a bit difficult 'cos Anthony felt his first loyality was to Max. Now he's gone, they had started to get friendlier, until Derek dripped his honied poison in to Craigs (Derek really has been bigging up Craig/Anthonys friendship to Craig - basically tell him what he wants to hear) willing ear and then Craig got the hump and the rest is history!

Very much so. Craig couldn't handle Eugene making Anthony a cup of tea (so nominated him); then he couldn't handle Orlaith and Anthony's first attraction (so warned Anthony not to trust the newbies).... then Maxwell went, and Anthony and Science were getting along just fine - until Craig got upset because Science and Anthony were simply getting along too well for his liking.
